YAY FOR NICE WEATHER!!!!!!
Okay, first thing first since a ton of people left comments about the last entry (not on here so much, but on lj), I am feeling a lot better than how I felt in the last entry. I just had to get all that out of my system! I'm still not completely myself yet, but I'm making progress which is good!
Wednesday was very long...oh my gosh...but overall it was a good day. We had an aiga meeting, best meeting we've ever had! Stephanie and I had a little talk at the end, it was really nice, but I wish we could have talked a lot longer (yeah...we were complaining about guys and how stupid they are and how they are very FEW sweet and REALLY nice guys out there, just mainly girl talk about guys...) I could have went on for hours and I think she could too! We both needed to let a whole bunch of steam out.
Thursday was a normal Thursday, the only excitement was in Browne, hehe! They're doing a brownie sale right now and during the noon hour we were having a discussion about music education pros and cons and why I backed out of music ed, blah blah blah...and then this one guy, never seen him before so I couldn't tell you his name, but he was playing guitar and some said sing a song about brownies and depending how good it was she might buy one. Yeah, so he starts singing a song about brownies, SO FRICKIN' FUNNY!!!! OH MY GOSH, I ABOUT DIED!!!!! I wish I had a tape recorder w/me. And then the girl ended up buying a brownie, it was so funny. Then I bought up that research paper we all have to write at the end of 190W, and I did mine on the power of music in advertising. I was like "if I was writing that paper right now, that would definently be in there!" It was so great! And we also had pep band rehearsal that night. That was pretty fun. Gotta love it! Although I about died again w/Mr. Howard when we were playing some mambo piece I had never played before that was in our binders and he was being all peppy and hyper and dancing to it, yeah, I couldn't play I was laughing so hard, good thing when we stopped Tim said break time...good timing! Wow...yeah, it was funny... Not much else happend after that.
Today, great weather! I don't have any Friday classes, but I had to run a few errands so I did that around 3. I wanted to so badly to do something outside, I didn't care what, have a picnic, go to the park and play on the playground, just sit outside and talk to someone, play catch or throw a birdie around since I have 2 rackets and 2 birdies in my room, just do something outside! It was very sunny, little breeze, just beautiful! But I went back to my room after getting sbarro, even though I was tempted to eat that outside, but I talked to Katie and around 5 we decided to go McDonalds cuz she had to get a happy meal w/my little pony inside, Sally joined us, we just went through the drive through and went to the park to eat it. Although I wasn't hungry since I just had sbarro, so I got a hot fudge sundae with water. It was kinda cold then by the time we went to the park cuz the sun was pretty much down, wind was blowing a little bit more, plus I was eating ice cream and drinking ice water and I had on a really light weight jacket cuz I was hot earlier w/that on so I figured that would be enough...yeah, I was shivering sitting there in the park after I finished my ice cream waiting for Sally to finish her french fries, but I didn't mind. It was nice being in the park. We decided we have to do it again when it's nicer outside. I guess Monday it's supposed to snow? Grr...I love snow, but now I'm ready for warm weather! I was so happier earlier, I was on cloud 9, just cuz of the weather! I hate Illinois weather...freezing one day, warm the next, then back to freezing the day after that and since you had the warm weather preview, it makes you want the warm weather, but then they say "no...it's only February...it's supposed to be cold, not warm!" Mother nature sure has her kicks...grrr... Oh well, I can't complain too much, 55 degrees, 4th of February...made me very happy! I'd be even more happy if I didn't wait til 5 to hang out w/friends outside. Should have done that earlier in the day to make the most of it....oh well. Tonight, I need to organize my room, do laundry...all that fun stuff...
So tomorrow, double hitter for pep band, plus my parents are coming for the games and to take me out to lunch. Probably go to wal-mart too, need food for when there's crappy food in the caf...plus soda or other drinks such as juice. Game will probably get over at either 9 or 10, no one really knows when the 2nd game starts, but my parents will be leaving right after the game and I don't have any plans for tomorrow night after the game.
Sunday...I need to take a few pics for photography class. I should download a trial version of illustrator so I can work on stuff for Catherine's class here instead of depending on lab times. Probably some other homework like listen to the cd's for jazz survey, I haven't read Ch. 1 yet, so I should probably do that too...gosh, what else? Maybe that's it so far, just homework. Or maybe hang out w/people if they call me up or I call them up.
Danielle's having a little thingy Wed, I really want to go to it cuz they're announcing winners for the contest and other fun stuff, but I told Stephanie I'd help her with production of the valentine's ads for the courier...so...yeah, I'm probably gonna have to miss Danielle's thing. Speaking of valentine's ads...someone please buy one...I'm supposed to sell 10 and I haven't sold any yet...it can just be telling someone "happy v-day!", doesn't have to be romantic. Or you can just tell the whole campus "happy v-day!" that would work too! So yeah, just let me know!
So yeah....I guess I've said everything for right now...not too much is happening....wish something would happen though...it would give me something to write about instead of me just saying dull things that happen each day, and hopefully it would be something positive too! I need something positive right now....oh well.
