new year(ish) goals
1. complete grad school applications before new year's eve
2. start working out again 3 times a week (starting when classes begin again in January)
3. re-start learning an instrument... have yet to decide if this will be piano, violin or guitar (as i have access to all 3) :)
4. start collecting Barbie dolls
---- this is because I've just realized that matel has made a "Barbie's of the World" collection...and I have a feeling that if I collected all of the Barbies from Southeast Asia that it will be beneficial to me in the future. The Cambodian Barbie is already going for a lot more than the original selling price, so its number one on the list...followed by Thai barbie of course :)
5. install the Thai keyboard onto this computer...and actually learn how to type in Thai in a timely manner..this in turn will hopefully help with reading and writing
6. Complete the Rosetta Stone language program I have, no matter how boring I think it is
7. Re-establish lost connections
8. Pay off at least one of my student loans...two would be awesome (I have 3 different student loan payments per month...getting rid of one of them would really help out...and yes, I've already consolidated)
9. Read Catch-22 (for some reason I always read half of it...then stop. I've read the first half of Catch-22 3 times now)
10. Write a choose your own adventure book
11. Learn how to bake amazing cakes
I think thats enough to concentrate on for now.
