happy things..
1. My classmate handed me a stack of calling cards. Each for 10 minutes to the USA. and he said "happy birthday." my birthday isn't until next week.
2. The guy at the restaurant I always goes to knows me and how I order. I can order anything off of the menu and he will say "No meat, no egg, with mixed vegetables, right?" so I don't have to worry about egg and meat being in my food anymore. After I was finished eating today when he went to clear my plate he asked "you don't like carrots?" and I said no. so he said that next time he will remember to place the order without carrots
3. I had to write a paper with a classmate. After we finished writing it before she left she handed me a bracelet and said that her mom made it for me for my birthday. She said that the pearl in the center is real.
Things are starting to look up. Now I just need to finish all of my work. Ugh.
Tomorrow I have a dental check up paid for by the school. I also have my Thai lesson and need to submit a journal article about personality factors in second language learning.
part of me feels that if I finish this program I should earn a doctorate instead of a masters. They are making it really hard for us.
