Randomness and Collection Update 12-10
So, went to dad's this weekend to go to that concert I mentioned. It was brilliant. I'd never heard either Sibelius' or Barber's Symphony before, very enjoyable.
Dad also got me a couple more shelves for my room and wouldn't let me pay for them. I then promptly got some stuff to fill them up when we went to the antique store again... love that place.

ºoº Old Pluto toy, no idea how old though. There was no information about him, just a stamp on the back of the head that says Walt Disney Productions. But he was only $3.
ºoº Ceramic Minnie and Mickey. Again no info, but they were only $5 each.
ºoº Mickey tin.
ºoº 1998 Disney Store 70th Anniversary plush set. I haven't been able to find the original price on this yet. There's a sale sticker from the DS on the back that says $31. I tried to see under it for the original price, but it'll just rip the sticker so I'm just going to leave it. It has a little shelf wear, but nothing major. Not bad for only $19.
Never got a chance to build the shelves though, as Sunday we went to visit grandma. Pretty sure I dropped my phone in dad's truck on the way home. Either that or it's at grandma's...
I had an extra day off work yesterday and was going to get so much done... fat chance there. Sat down to watch a show, then had a little nap (I'd had one of those sleep-for-an-hour-jolt-wide-awake-for-two-sleep-for-one-awake-for-two kinda nights). Went and wasted some time catching up online after being without it for a couple days. Next thing I know it's 7:30 and my show's going to be on soon. So I make supper and watch it. 5 minutes before it's over and I can go do something, and Volya curls up on my lap. He never curls up on my lap. Oh, I don't really feel like getting up anyway... let's watch the Three Amigos. Still sleeping, eh? Alright, let's watch Supernatural. The Mentalist. Ok, he finally gets up, but it's already after 1, so I'll go get ready for bed. Curl up in bed, but not sleepy at all. Spend next 2.5 hours watching the Monkees.
Guess what... we got snow last night!!! Lot's of it. And still getting more! I got my exercise this morning. At 6 this morning I shoveled not only our walk and driveway, but the neighbour's walk, and the neighbour's across the street. An hour later it's snowing again, and by 9 you can't tell I did anything. Went to the grocery store, trudging through foot deep snow. In there 15 mins tops, come back out and you'd never have believed I'd just walked through the snow.
Also, do you realize it's less than a week until John Carter comes out?!
