38. When in Doubt, Check Him Out - by Joseph Culligan
I know what you're thinking, but I grabbed this book off the library shelf because I thought it might give me some tips on searching public records. It did so on the local, state and federal levels.

40. Oracle Bones - by Peter Hessler
The author of River Town (which I loved) returns with further discussion of China and his experiences there. A National Book Award finalist.

41. The No Asshole Rule - by Robert I. Sutton
Just as the title says, this book discusses assholes in the workplace, how to deal with them, how to change your own behavior, and even the benefits of employee assholery.
