34. Body Surfing - Anita Shreve
It's Shreve. Enough said.

35. On Mexican Time - by Tony Cohan
This is one of my purchases from Tattered Cover. The author and his girlfriend/partner/wife/whatever give up their L.A. life and move to the mountains of Mexico. This is a very interesting narrative that will change the way you view our neighbor to the south.

36. Jesus Land - by Julia Scheeres
Who knew such crazy people lived in Indiana? This is the author's own heartbreaking and fascinating story of adolescence, racism and abuse among Christian parents who give religion a bad name. I read this one in a day.

37. The Falls - Joyce Carol Oates
This book started great but went somewhere different than I expected. Thus, I partially lost interest. A good story, but not  my favorite. I feel like I'm going to hell for saying that about such a renowned author.
