2 WEEKS & COUNTING
Okay, now I am really getting excited, two weeks from now at about this time, I should be
sitting at "Hometown Buffet" with my kids and grandkids stuffing my face with food and my heart with happiness. I can hardly wait !!!! The first night gathered at Hometown has become kinda a nice tradition for when I go to Ca.
I started packing last night so that after I get done with it, I will have plenty of time to say
" no I don't need that" and take it out or realize I missed packing something I do need
and be able to get it packed. Besides it gives me something to do to keep me busy so
the time goes a little faster. I just found out that Thanksgiving Dinner will be delayed until saturday so that we can all be together, again, I am so excited and looking forward to
this visit.
It has started to look more like Alaska winter here the last few days, the ground is covered with that white stuff which is okay except we have been having some nasty wind and that drops the wind chill factor down and makes you feel that someone is tossing razor blades at you and they aren't missing. It can get pretty miserable at times.
The Dr. put me on Prednisone (sp) for my chronic bronchitis, it has really improved my
breathing, only problem is ..now I can't sleep. Dr. warned me that it might do that and
of course with my luck it has done exactly that. I go to sleep but I sleep so lightly
that the slightest noise and I am wide awake, for quite awhile, so lots of little dozy naps
all during the day. Another few days and I will be finished with it, I had to take 3 pills
twice a day X 3 days, then 2 pills twice a day X 3 days, then 1 pill twice a day X 3 days
then 1 pill once a day X 3 days, then I will be done. I am on my 3rd day of 2 pills
so tomorrow I will drop down to 1 twice a day, I will be all through by next thursday.
Okay dinner is ready to come out of oven so poof I'm gone.
