TEN random things about me
1. I tend to fall down...a lot.
2. Related to the above, I have had broken bones 6 times in my life: collarbone, finger, both wrists (at the same time), foot, knee, and now thumb.
3. I really like cooking, especially trying out new recipes.
4. I have an extensive collection of shoes...and I wear the same few pairs over and over again.
5. I have more scrapbooking stuff than a normal person should have, but I am more than a year behind in the scrapbooking I am supposed to be doing.
6. I think I should have been born in a small town.
7. I can't remember to do ANYTHING-water plants, take vitamins, pay bills, you get the drift...
8. I can't grow my nails like a normal girl, no matter how hard I try.
9. What other people think of me matters way more than I let on.
10. I wish I was some cool ethnicity.
NINE ways to win my heart
1. Take an interest in my life. Ask me questions and genuinely seem like the answers matter. Try something I like even if it isn't something YOU like.
2. Don't get all uptight when I want a picture with you. I just want to remember all the good times we have, and I probably think you're pretty cute.
3. Meet my family and accept their insanity. It's something I am always going to be a part of, so we're stuck with it.
4. Be romantic every once in a while. Just a nice change of pace is nice (and my favorite flowers are gerber daisies).
5. Call me when you know I'm having a bad day. And also sometime in the vicinity of when you say you will otherwise.
6. Enjoy hanging out with my friends. I'm not going to choose a guy over the people who have been there for me through good times and bad, so if you wanna be with me, you're going to have to put up with them.
7. Include me in your life. Teach me things you're good at. Take me to do things you like to do. Introduce me to the people who matter most to you.
8. Surprise me when I am not expecting you. Not with presents, but with your presence.
9. Tell me I'm pretty, and mean it.
EIGHT things I want to do before I die
1. Find a job that fulfills me (aka something I can do for the rest of my life without gouging my eyes out with a spoon).
2. Find a guy who makes me laugh and think and is everything that a relationship is supposed to be about and marry him.
3. Have kids and give them every opportunity I have been given and more.
4. Travel somewhere with my mom, somewhere with my husband, somewhere with my grand kids, and somewhere with my girls.
5. Run a half marathon (would say a whole marathon, but who am I kidding?)
6. Feel proud of who I have grown up to be.
7. Go scuba diving.
8. Get published.
SEVEN things that annoy me
1. Gauchos
2. People who are "different" because its the cool thing to do. Doing stupid shit and dressing like a dumb ass doesn't make you an individual. Its just makes you like the rest of the dumb ass stupid people out there.
3. When people in the public eye use bad grammar. Before you say that this entry has grammatical errors, I will say this: this is not something that the rest of the U.S. or the world will see. I am not a public figure. Public figures shouldn't make up words when they're addressing a gathering of people.
4. People who act drunk when they're really not
5. Extremley loud, crowded places
6. The Mount Pleasant Police Department
7. Hype
SIX turn ons
1. An open mind
2. Shared interests
3. Light eyes
4. Nice toned, tan arms
5. A sense of humor
6. A little bit of manliness (I'm not one of those girls who wants a metrosexual)
FIVE things I'm afraid of
1. The finality of death (my own, and that of those I love)
2. Never being successful in my career or my personal life (either one)
3. Turning into something I hate
4. The dark side of mankind (how some people do the things they do scares the shit out of me)
5. The dark
FOUR favorite items in my room
1. My bed, for sure (and the pillows and blankets on it)
2. My brown dresser
3. My bathroom (not an object, but its SO nice to have my own!)
4. All my decorations (my room is really cute, if I do say so myself)
THREE things I do every day
1. Think about what I am going to eat (I really like to plan out my meals for the day. It helps me stay on track)
2. Listen to music
3. Waste time (Hello! What am I doing right now?)
TWO things I want to do right now
1. Go to bed.
2. Go to bed. (That's pretty much all I want to do right now.)
ONE song everyone should download
1. "What I Almost Was" or "The Hard Way" by Eric Church. Both great songs and great commentary on life. His whole CD is pretty much great tho!
