Oh the happenings

Lets see... Where to begin?

On Wednesday I drove down to Atlanta to spend the rest of my break with Ted before school starting back. Outside of Chattanooga there was an accident and there was stop and go traffic. The guy behind me obviously didn't like me stopping so he hit me with his van. Overall it will cost him about $1000 for the accident. $870 to replace my bumper(its cracked) and $111 to pay for my doctors visit because of neck and shoulder pains. I'm alright, just was a little sore for 2 days, and my car is still fine. Luckily I didn't hit the person in front of me too.

Ted and I exchanged presents when I got there. He loves his bass guitar I got him and he got me this awesome perfume and a new wallet.

Thursday he took me to the new Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta to celebrate my birthday a little early(it was Sunday). I liked it pretty well. The whale sharks were breathtaking, and the beluga whales were pretty neat too. My only complaint was that there were NO turtles. I mean they had friggin penguins and whales and shit but no turtles. Needless to say I was pretty sad about that. The Tennessee Aquarium has a whole section on turtles!

Friday and Saturday we just hung out and did some shopping at Wal*Mart and Marshalls.

Sunday we went to IHOP for lunch to celebrate my birthday then moved back into the dorms then went to Jeffersons for some spicy chicken fingers I was craving to end off my b-day. Overall it was a decent way with one very sad exception...

We walked into Ted's room to find that there was a brownish/greenish/blackish liquid dried all over the floor. Turns out Ryan, Ted's roomie, unplugged the fridge for the duration of the break and left milk, ice cream, and bannanas in there. The ice cream and bannanas made a lovely moldy mix of discharginess. WE made Ryan drag it down the the showers to spray it out and scrub it clean. Ted wouldn't let it back into the room until Ryan thought it was clean enough for him to lick it.

Today was the first day of class. I have an 8, 9, and 10 with 2 labs at 1 and 3. Full Day, but a good day. I'm taking 16 credit hours this semester, all sciences so I've got a lot of labs. Plus, I was signed up to TA a Bio 106 course and now I'm TAing a Bio 112 course and *possibly* another Bio 112 course depending on how many other TAs they can find. There goes my free Tuesday afternoons...

Ted is working on getting his motorcycle fixed. We should be back riding by the end of this week hopefully.

Hope all of you who started back school are enjoying yourselves. I wish you all the luck in getting back into your study and sleep schedules.
