Back at the Burghh

I'm back at plattsburgh. It was a lot harder for me to leave home than I thought it'd be. This vacation was good, it might've gotten really boring and lonely at times, but I look at the big picture and I had a lot of fun. Christmas was good. New Years was fun. Toronto was, such a blast. And I got to see Mike Milone for the first time since about 9th grade. And just like break as a whole, Toronto had its moments where you just didn't wanna be there. But it was still so much fun. Then when I got back, just the simplest shit like playing video games with my brother and watching the giants every weekend with my dad, it made me feel like I was back in high school. And I miss that a little bit, especially the way it was when I was at home. When the Giants won that game against the Packers in OT, it reminded me sooo much of 2002, when the Giants played the Eagles week 17, and they needed to win to make the playoffs. And Matt Bryant kicked a field goal in OT I think it was and the Giants won 10-7. The Giants outplayed the Eagles the way they outplayed the Packers but managed to not win it all that easily at all. An emotional rollercoaster. And I watched that game with my dad and brother too. But, anyway..

My drive up here was good. It went fast. It took me about 6 hours to get here, and I stopped a good 4 times to eat or go to the bathroom. And there was one stop where my ipod fell under my seat and i couldn't get it out while I was driving. I got here around 7 or 730, and my friend Marcus that lives next door to me helped me with my stuff. Me and my roommate split a pizza, I went next door and hung out with Marcus and put back a few beers. If his two friends find an apartment for four people I'll probably be in luck and be able to get an apartment next year. If nothing else I'll at least get out of this building and into a nicer building. Some of the dorms on campus have some bigass rooms to split between two people, I wouldn't mind it as much, and I'll probably end up with a new roommate because my current roommate wants to move back to Banks Hall which is completely substance free and the building where all the international students seem to wanna dorm. Not for me at all. And if anything he wants to stay here, and I don't really like this building at all. But that's next year. This semester looks good so far. I have at least one person I know in at least two of my classes. Marcus is in my spanish class, and my friend candice is in my biology class. So that's pretty sweet. All in all I'm excited for this semester.
