mid-week 4
I got side tracked doing math homework when i looked over at my computer screen. Seems to happen a lot.
School's going all right. I'm surviving, though I'm starting to wish I'd taken fewer classes. Internally, I really think that if I gave myself more free time, I'd just waste it away until I had a minimal amount of time to do my homework. That's part of why I pack up on classes. Right now, I feel like I need for time for any one of my harder classes, though I still don't know if I'd have the discipline to go about doing a better job for that class given more time. It's a catch-22
I imagine that if I really liked a subject, I'd want to spend (at least some of ) my free time learning about it and doing more than what's required or covered in class. I may have found that in Chinese...since every now and then I glance at this Confucian text that my mom gave me and I've also been volunteer-tutoring first year Chinese students a little.
