Fri and Sat were tons of fun.
Friday during the day i lounged and watched tv. i actually got tired of some of the tv cause this semester i hardly watched any and sitting there for like 2 hours was the max.
Fri nite was oh so much fun with the fam. My mom's job (The World Bank) was having their holiday party which i really didn't want to go to but there was free dinner and booze (which i suprisignly didn't take advantage of even though ever other minute my mom and sister were like 'do you want a drink? go on, have a drink!' anyways. the food was awesome, some of which was thai (Molly we're gonna have to set up a tara thai date cause ever since then i've had a craving for thai food) and italian and just reg. american food. then they had this lil' disco room where at first, nobody was dancing. around 9 o'clock people slowly made their way down to the disco and danced. i of course danced and so did my sister. as a matter of fact she danced with a crazy lookin 73 year old many, a short and skinny asian man and some other guy and i was dying of laughter cause right after she 'danced' with the old man she was like 'man, i felt like anna nicole smith just now...' my parents danced and my sister actually did 'the bumb' with my dad for like 5 minutes and they were getting really into it. and my mom kept going like, 'are we cool or what? don't you have cool parents? so in the end it was a strangely fun nite with the rents and older sis.
sat was shopping day cause classes and finals raped me i got ZERO gifts before coming home which was not the plan. we went to Arundel Mills which is HUGE!!!! i guess i got everybody cool gifts but sadly didn't finish my shopping eventhough i've got less than a week. the hightlight of today was at the pretzel place (Antie Anne's). so Simone (my sis), Taskeen (sis in-law), and I were standing in line and like a minute later soda's are flyin and what not and the cashier and a customer are goin at!!! it was crazy! they drew a huge as croud and the secuirty came and what not but it was just crazy! the customer was cussing and trying to throw more stuff even though the cashier was in back and yea...she's was heated! all i wanted was a stupid pretzel! my sis ended up gettin a few free ones and a soda which was kinda nice...
all in all a good weekend and can't wait for tomorrow...Secret Buddy and more shopping!
