note to self: dont run alone.
i have never been so terrifyingly paralyzed in my life....
gas is really expensive so instead of driving around to clear my head, I run. Its all part of my mission to be jacked and tan for summer.
I was running at the Elementary track like i kind of do often... I'm on my 9th lap running, not really paying attention around me because it slows me down... anyways... all of a sudden 4 guys are walking onto the track. they came from the long way, so they must have seen me from far away, im a girl running by myself in a bright yellow hoodie.
I pull my headphones out of my ears and say hi... my friends were hanging out around the corner so i honestly thought it was them... as they walked closer one asked what i was doing... I swear the voice was my friend tommy.. at this point i was only a little paniced.
all 4 of them come into the light and it is definitly not my friends. its actually 4 creeps. they are walking closer, talking to me, asking me questions... i clearly looked scared because one of them said, "dont let us stop you from running... why are you out here alone so late..."
I try and be not rude just incase the community gang doesnt like backtalk... so i tell them im no comfortable running with people around.. and i walk off the track....
they start to follow me. as soon as i turn the corner i run like ive never run before.
i ran all the way to where michelle was, after sending an SOS text. I had already run 9 laps.... and I have been suffering from symptoms of spiral meningitis.( look it up) My heart is about to explode out of my chest, i cant catch my breath, i cant even stand.
i run home, by now I am completly exhausted. there is no energy left in my body, and i still cant catch my breath.
I forreal will always have those faces burned into my memory and their creepy molester voices. I might be overreacting, but it was straight out of a movie.
i will never be jacked and tan at this rate.
