First of all, let me say that saturday was the saddest show I've ever gone to. June played their last show ever. It was a good run. they didn't do an encore because they wanted to go out guns blazing, but after they turned the metro lights on, the boys came up to take their final bow and they convinced tim to play the secret track off of Blur. I think everyone teared up when the band was swaying arms around eachother choking back tears, you could hear it in Tims voice too. Even if you don't like June, it was sad. these 4 boys thought they were gonna live their dream forever, playing music with their best friends. Its a shame they were on victory, its a shame no one ever really caught on.... but I had some pretty good times at their shows.
If bands could stop breaking up that'd be great, this was the second farewell show I've been to this year.
Switching gears:
Me and kelley are running an 8k marathon in september. Yeah I know its not that long, but look at me.... I need to start running now and build up to 8k so I don't die. And were kinda hoping for softball legs from all this running...
We leave for bamboozle in 2 weeks from tomorrow. I need new clothes. I need money.
If only you could see my planner for this week. I'm screwed. I have to write a 15 page paper by next tuesday.
