(no subject)
Haven't made a post in about a million years, so thought I'd throw out a quick little update.
Terra and I will be getting married in Spetember, not June like we had previously planned. We will be doing the ceremony and reception at the Masonic Lodge in Waseca, which is basically just a cool old mansion with a big yard and a wrap-around porch - should provide lots of space for people to hang out. Plus, we are getting the space for virtually nothing since Terra's dad is a Mason. Sweet.
Speaking of Terra's family, her aunt Alice from Scotland is here visiting for the month of April. She was unbelievably hospitable to us when we were over there in 2004, and it is always a joy to see her and share all kinds of stories and jokes with her. Plus, she brought me a bunch of scottish comic books.
I dropped my cell phone in a toilet the other night. It made a few "zapping" noises and now it is dead. And, unfortunately, the warranty does not apply to physical damage. I wouldn't care so much, but it was my christmas present from Terra. At least the toilet hadn't been recently used... that would have added a little insult to injury.
That's all I got right now. Should be a good day at work - I just heard that the owners are out of town today. When the cat's away, the mice will play! And by play I mean slack off long enough to go onto LJ for a while. And maybe go across the street for donuts....
