I'm currently working on, well, finishing up, fic. And this time, I wrote Neville/Hannah.
I really don't know why I wrote it (well, it's probably because Jane and I have been talking about Neville a lot lately), but something popped into my head and I wrote it.
I actually like it a lot, it's just that I don't read a lot of Neville, and I'm just totally afraid I got him all wrong. It's not like he's in the book that much, but I'd be so afraid to just write something that goes against what a huge group of people characterize him as. I really want to post it at a Neville community, but I'm pretty nervous about it.
In other completely unrelated news, I finally got around to seeing "Away We Go." You really wouldn't know it was a Sam Mendes film. It was so fantastic though. I saw it in Boston at this really cool theatre with a good friend. We both loved it. It's very much about family and what makes a family work. It was shot beautifully, and I thought the whole cast was great.
If you watch Two and a Half Men (I hate that show personally, but I've seen a few episodes), the person who plays Rose (the only character I like on that show) has some fantastic scenes. They were probably some of the best scenes in the film, and she plays an entirely different person this time around. I loaded this icon without having seen the movie, but I'm totally glad I did. I would see it again.
