I just survived a 90 minute presentation on Chinese poetry - poetry by the author Bian Zhilin to be accurate :). And it was BRILLIANT! I don't have much time, because basically I need to hurry to the next class again already but ... OH MY GOD I THINK I PASSED THE ORAL CHINESE EXAM!!! I'm really glad about that, because honestly, I felt like I wouldn't be able to do it ... OH MY GOD - I got an A on my oral exam in Chinese! YESSSS! I can't tell you how happy that makes me - I'm literally bouncing off the walls here :D! Now all I need is to get a D on my written exam and I'll be forever happy! (Please, please, please, please!)

YES!!!! I DID IT - I PASSED CHINESE LAW!

Now I can finally go back to not knowing in which years the Chinese constitution was amended ... thank god -.-

Took the aquarium bus today to go to university. That's that one bus where somehow water seems to have got in between the two window panes. It keeps sloshing back and forth whenever the driver accelerates or brakes and somehow makes me feel like a fish (by the way, with the way the weather's been in Austria these past few weeks, I'm just one ( Read more... )

Just had langauge lab for Chinese and usually this is my absolutely worst course - I hate the four tones -.-. Whenever I finally manage to get one of them right, of course one of the others has to go awry. I ... hate ... this. I'm up to about 110 characters now - but only about 80 words =(. And I need the damn 200 words - minimum =(. Starting to rethink this whole decision of studying Chinese ... What an absolutely exhausting day, I tell you - even though I only had two classes. I'm actually kind of scared when I think about tomorrow - gonna be five classes then =( - and most of them aren't entertaining, at all (among other things I'll get that blasted paper back I wrote before the hols - I better prepare myself for a reaaaaally bad mark.
