Spent my lunch break yesterday studying bowling techniques on the intar-web, and made some tweaks to my game that evening. We bowled 3 games, and while adjusting to my new mechanics and a house ball, my first 2 games were nothing special (112, 119). Yeah, because it they reinstate the draft they can't possibly change the age range.

I sincerely doubt the draft will be re-instated in this century. If it is, I would expect some changes to the policy (regarding the lottery system, registration and drafting of women, age range of draftees, alternate service options for COs, etc.). However, that is a solid maybe wrapped in a tenous "what-if". If I ever serve in the armed forces, it will almost certainly be voluntary, and I don't forsee such cicumstances arising anytime soon.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only scenario I can foresee which would necessitate a draft. The first draft of my reply to Sean had a parenthetical caveat regarding a land grab by China, but I redacted it, deeming it too improbable.
