Today was a long day spent with the family. We went to Rick's for breakfast, Wal-Mart Super Center for weekly grocery shopping and then the thrift stores. I found nothing at any of the thrift stores but my sister found three Flinstones-related paperback books. We went to another craft fair but this one was much crowder than last week's. I made a fairy catcher tonight from an empty Folger's Cafe Latte container (I like the French Vanilla flavor) and some old catalogs from The Pyramid Collection:

As proof that I can be creative when making crafts, I used old floppy disks to make a holder this afternoon. I used a glue stick to put pictures of action figures and statues from an old Wizard magazine on the label area. I then used Elmer's glue gel to put the four sides and the bottom together. I went on a small shopping spree today after making a big deposit at the bank. At Super Wally World, I found Metallic Amethyst paint for my wooden car kit. I was looking for just purple but I thought that would really look cool for the racing car. In order to celebrate my mother's birthday, we went to the local Christmas Crap...er, Craft Show. We haven't been to one for over five years and we remembered why.
