Jury Duty?! FUN!
Hey all,
Siting here in Jury Duty at the downtown courthouse. Just finished watching a 20 minute Public Acess 'movie' (if that's what you'd call it) with a bunch of people in vintage hippie clothing saying how enjoyable and fun civic responsibility can be. I'm missing work which is nice, but sitting in this room just makes me even more antsy. I think I should have written that I have ADD or something....
I'm an "overflow juror," just filling in space for people who are dismissed. I've already seen 4 or 5 high school aged kids here, all of them have gone ahead of me into a case already. SO... now I just sit and wait. Its like government class, but without the obnoxious kids!! And no Katya, you weren't obnoxious :)
Wish me luck, and pray I don't have to stay here till 5pm.
