Haha, my family has never really quite followed the Western way of doing things; our traditions, beliefs, values...all lean more towards the Chinese/Asian way.

Back in primary my classes all had under ten, or in some cases five, non-Asian people. And it's almost the same case now. And compared to my mum, she works in an office with practically no Asian people.

Basically what I want to say is that it'll be hard for people like us to adapt. And maybe also be accepted. In a Western society.

But the thing is, despite wanting to...well...Westernise...I'd still be proud of my Asian heritage, and wouldn't want to let it...well, go.

Sometimes, I personally think she is in a way. Until you've heard them, you can't quite comprehend how bad it is.

Yes, indeed. These viruses blockers are really stupid.

ahh~ what hunger does to a person... =_=; there's a part that i think i didn't make quite clear (or maybe i'm in "nonsense" mode again because it's past 12 right now). er... *scratches head* when I said I'm a native foreigner, i meant that i feel like a foreigner in my own country despite being born, raised and living here in the Philippines. that's why i think my case is pretty depressing, for although i love my country so much, i don't know much about it. i want to learn more, but textbooks written in Filipino makes my head spin and i'd need to use a dictionary ( ... )
