i'd been struggling with these two words in study for a while but a connection suddenly dawned on me.  I don't know why it took so long for the penny to drop:

AAAKPPU  -  KAUPAPA  =  KAU + PAPA
AAAKMMU  -  MAMAKAU =  MAMA + KAU

You can remember which one has the KAU before it and which one after by the phrase "Mamas and Papas".  Mama first, Papa last - at least that's how my mind works.

I only have these in my cardbox as I have all 4 vowel 7s.   I guess I'll have to get through about 20,000 scrabble games until I ever get to play one.

Only one other word takes KAU as either a prefix/suffix.  It's a suffix and it's a non-bingo.
