mommy, it's over

Sep 15, 2008 15:18

in a blink of an eye, it's over. our big day, that is.

still pooped from yesterday: lack of bed rest (woke up at 6am because the sun was up early and had trouble going back to sleep) + lack of food (breakfast was at 8am but couldn't eat much for fear that i can't fit into my dress and didn't feel like eating lunch) + too much action going on (no time to rest).

my experience was probably different from the rest of the brides because i was very relaxed throughout the whole thing. some suppliers (ie, richard buan) could attest to that. i felt no pressure at all- everyone was asking me if i'm already excited. i kept telling them, not really. i mean, i want to enjoy the experience more than anything. i know all my suppliers will deliver (most of them did, i'm happy to announce).

first supplier to arrive was April & Karen Yu. april was there to deliver our flowers (arrangements were lovely) at 830ish. next was cherry pacheco-uy and her hairstylist, jerry javier. both were chatty and fun to work with. jerry worked on my hair first, i had a nice up-do: niko's hairpiece was beautiful. nagmukha akong babae! hehehe! next were veluz's team. veluz was there to work on my dress so the photographers could do their thing with it then left for the other bride who was also having her wedding in tagaytay.

jayson's team came next, followed by our videographer, geronimo photographico. coordinators were there by 11-something. then mimi & karl (if my memory serves me right). everyone was all-business! but veluz and mimi were the best people to be with during preps- they tell you really funny things that put you more at ease!

anyway, i'm happy we did the wedding. we finally got God's blessing- and as His gift to us: we had the clearest skies in over a week! i'm glad it didn't rain. now our photos don't need much photoshopping. hehe. reception started around 6:15pm and ended 7:40pm. it was short yet sweet. heard lots of great comments about our reception- that it was fun and reflected our personalities well.

okay, i won't bore you out with my ramblings anymore. but since mimi and i are tight (hehehe, kidding), she gave us 20 resized photos of our wedding to give you a taste of how it all went. i love our photos (and our photographers)- now i can definitely relate. although i forgot to put a bit of poise in my smile- i forgot that i have gums kasi. kainez. so please excuse my gummy smile- as jayson puts it- happing-happy!

and marvel at my gorgeous gown- all of you non-veluz brides, eat your heart out. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!
