counting down the days
4 more days and we get to go home for a week!! yay yay yay, can't wait to see mum again and taste her comfort food; spend time and bond with my cats; catch up with friends; and tie up loose ends for our wedding. it's going to be a very busy week! eek! hehe.

caleruega church requirements-
1. marriage certificate - this is a disaster! i reported our marriage in early june yet it still hasn't arrived in DFA, Manila. and i thought a month should be enough time! well it's not. have to ask joel's brother to ring DFA up again and ask if our report of marriage has arrived.
2. certificate of freedom to marry - got it this morning from fr. angel
3. baptismal & confirmation certificates - mine's done, c/o auntie fei yi (hope the certs read "for marriage purposes only"); whilst joel has to obtain his when we get back
4. pre-cana certificate - the first requirement we completed (as early as december 2007)
with those at hand, we can now make a trip down to nasugbu, batangas city for our canonical interview. the pain of getting married in your dream church. : /

stuff to do in manila-
1. visit my derma (and complain like hell why her products aren't working)
2. fittings - gowns & joel's suit
3. get joel new slacks (i hate ironing his more than half a decade old cheapo slacks)
4. get myself new tops (for work) and possibly winter clothing - yeah right.
5. buy cat food & litter
6. celebrate ventura's birthday
7. learn to whip up more dishes from mum
8. get my cats to the vet if they need to
9. wrestle my cats and get them to bathe (it's not funny when your cat protests bathtime - you get scratches all over)
10. make that trip to nasugbu to fulfill church requirements
yep. guess that's about it. what a long list.
can't remember what i was supposed to blog about next and it's getting a bit late so i'm going to leave it for tomorrow or tuesday.
