I've always seen Blaine as someone who strives for perfection in everything he does, not out of excessive ambition, but because he thinks that's the only way people will like him. And when he does screw up, he's very hard on himself (see 3.05). I think he can be terribly insecure and he spends a lot of time covering that up.
I think you captured that essence of Blaine very well in this piece. I loved the running thread of "why don't they like him? He's being what they want." 13, 15 and 20 rang especially true for me. And I have to admit 20 actually made me tear up a bit. And 12, too, because I can just imagine how absolutely betrayed Blaine must have felt in that moment.
