Ok big gap there...

...but there IS a new song! Tradeoff? Maybe. Maybe not. Your call.

Anyway, not too much to speak of. Schedules and weather have prevented me from making further progress on the Sentra unfortunately. I say unfortunately because despite the previous unseasonably warm weather, winter has finally decided to arrive. So now with temps dipping in the 20s at night and barely hitting 40s during the day, I'm driving a car with no heat. It's actually not as bad as I expected it temperature-wise, as I don't mind the cold all that much. It's the having to scrape ice, defrost, etc., that's going to be a problem.

Musical projects are going well. Mikey P. and I have been working on putting together "skeletons" of our band songs for recording purposes. There are a couple of things I still need for my guitar rig. But that's nothing too new there. In the process of all this, I stumbled across a song that I came up with back in February that kinda mysteriously fell out of plain view I guess. As I was archiving, I found it, had an "OH YEAH!" moment, and began to put it together in a more cohesive way. After some painstaking drum mapping and mixing, I have what is a fairly presentable recording and composition. The song is called "Look Around You". As it stands there is no vocals or lyrics (although there is a theme in mind), but the music is fairly set and fairly decent if I may say so myself. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. You can check out the song on my myspace music page or you can download it off of my site.

Also just wanted to pay a little respect and homage to the two greats that tragically got taken from us on this day in 1980 and 2004, John Lennon and Dimebag Darrell. Thank you for everything.
