I have many ow'ies
Definitely beyond time for an update.
Went to Copenhagen last weekend, by which i mean i spent 3 hours there before returning to the boat to continue the booze cruise. Saw the little mermaid (several times) and saw a military marching band in the street followed by about 50 guys with automatic rifles, so that was cool. Later found out that that was probably the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace. A friend tried to follow the guards into the palace grounds before being stopped by some poor army guy who had no idea how to deal with a drunk australian trying to say hi to Mary...
Spent the last four days skiing. Two days of alpine (on my new skis, and trying not to think about how much its going to cost to ship them back home) and two of cross-country. Good fun, but i hurt everywhere now. Thought i'd buggered my knee on a jump: went too fast, missed the landing area entirely and hit the slope hard, felt something give a little. Nothing since except a slight twinge now and then so guess i escaped one.
Have arranged a few excursions: London for easter, Tromso (a city in the north of norway, beyond the arctic circle) later on, trying to work out others to Rome or Tallin or Amsterdam or... :) All good
