Well, it seems I can't sleep, so I'll just randomly write about something here. I barely slept a wink all night, and by the time I was drifting off the sun was rising. I'm a light sleeper so even faint traces of light annoy me. Sounds too - the ticking of my bedside clock annoys me most nights...

First off, I, like everyone else, quite like Christmas. In fact, this year I’m a hyper little nutcase that terrorizes our guests/hosts. XD I like the ideals, the get-togethers, even caroling and baking and stuff.
Of course the decorating is okay, except we use the exact same decorations every year! Of course we’re using ribbons this year, so that’s okay, and everybody loves tinsel. (Shiny!)
But I absolutely hate the music.
I’m sure the people who made the Christmas CD’s and stuff went to a lot of trouble and everything, and I’m just so thankful to God and the cosmos that we have no Hip-hop or Rap ‘carols’. (At least, not in our house…) But between you and me, unless we’re ‘professionally’ caroling I just can’t stand any of the songs.
Even my favorites, like Silent Night and We Three Kings. (My absolute favourite is God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, but hardly anyone even knows it…) Music doesn’t enhance them; it just makes them sound… well… dumb.
And don’t even get me started on the knuckleheads singing along to them! (My sister and mother being some of them) Honestly, why must everyone sing in Soprano, when they aren’t? It doesn’t help I have sensitive hearing as it is…
When I ‘sing along’ I usually do Baritone… even though I’m not.
…It’s a pain being musically inclined in a tone-deaf age…
