Vacation!!
Oh my.. so here I am now in California, SAN JOSE! I have been away from home and having a BLAST for the last 5 days! Here is my week in recap:
FRIDAY: haha.. so I didnt sleep at ALL thursday night, it was an ALLnighter as I somewhat suspected..being that my flight to caLi was at 645am and had absolutely nothing packed by 2am. Rich being a champ.. took me to the airport at O'dark thirty.. THANKS!! well.. he had a nice HOT Carmel Machiatto for inspiration.. (= check in was great.. THANK GOD for E-tickets. It took me less than 2 minutes to check it, while the standard ticket line was about a 45min wait. LUCKY ME!! My flight was awesome.. I slept on and off the whole 2hr flight.. arrived in SJC and my Grandma picked me up! It was alot of fun! We talked on the way back to the house. About 5 minutes after we arrived at the house, my Grandpa pulled in, he had his niece with him, or someone close to the family he called his niece. Fransi, she is Swiss, and absolutly BEAUTIFUL!! We all sat at the table, ate cinnoman-rasin bread ( my favorite) drank tea and told our stories.. it was alot of fun! She was traveling the US for 2 months, went to different parts of Europe and Cananda, and now here in the US. She is only 21 and back packing around.. it sounds like soo much fun! She stays at hostals at each location she visits, unless she knows friends of family she stays a day with them.. I wanna do that with my friends.. take a raod trip and stay in hostals.. it beats the Hotel prices by 70% if not more! Well after that, I conked out!! for a few hours! I was BEAT!
I awoke to the smell of a HOME-COOKED dinner. My Gram made a Pot Roast to die for.. with seasoned veggies and the whole nine. We all ate, including Fransi's 2 friends, Jasmine (swiss) and her boyfriend John (portugese). Dinner was great.. and it was nice meeting people around my age.
Saturday- I spend went to lunch with my Grandparents at our classic spot... THE BURGER PIT!! the best burgers on the west coast!! hands down in my opinion! I spent that afternoon with my Grandpa.. we traveled around town.. and then went to the sports center where he plays Table Tennis. He is a PRO!! He is 70 years old, and by watching him play you would never have guessed! He has won competitions in the last year.. and actually has a Website and club of of players that he plays with. They are all going to Las Vegas in December for a competition. GOOD LUCK Grampa!! I got to play with his friends while they took turns playing. Each of the 3, Gail, Al, Laryen all taught me something different. I think I did a good job being that is was my first time ever playing!! It was fun playing something with my Grampa more than anything!
I met with Kawika later that night.. at this Restraunt called Bancheros. WE had dinner with his Mom, Jeff (her bf) and Jerold (jigga lil bro) and his friend Gonzo!! Dinner was great.. and then me and jigga go a lil pre-funked at the bar for what turned out to be an AWESOME night on the San Francisco Strip!! Actually a night that I barely remember..
We started off at this club called the Sake Lounge.. it was nice.. GREAT drinks.. good music.. nice atmosphere.. we drank.. danced.. and mingled a bit with the crowd.. but wanted to explore more places before they started to close down. We did.. I dont even remember the name of the 2nd place we went but we met some cool people there we hung out with for a while.. then we headed to THE END UP.. apparently, cz after a night of drinking and dancing thats where everyone ends up! Its open til 6a.. we stayed til about 4ish... good times there.. LOL.. we got kicked out 3 times!!! haha.. you think we would have learned after the first 2x.. LMAO.. Kawika and his drunk ass.. kept passing out!! I tried to cover him.. but it didnt work.. so we were escorted out.. walked around the block.. and got in with our stamps.. not once.. not twice.. but 3x! After the third time.. Jigga could actually dance.. so we went in again.. I danced with this black chic.. who I swear was a stripper.. it was alot of fun.. breaking her off.. LOL til her boyfriend came over.. he was cool though.. after dancing off most of the liquor.. and proceeded out the last time.. by our own will. LOL The trip home.. uhm.. yeah.. NO COMMENT
geez.. this is getting LONG, I think I will start Sunday off with a new entry tomorrow! Im in one of 3 side "houses" in my Grandparents back yard.. it really cool. They each have there own Office outside, and one extra one either a bedroom/office .. either or. I like it.. I think I want to put one in my back yard.. eventually that is.. (=
