so, the end of the semester is winding down and i think i've learned a lot about myself this semester. they are little things, but i think they constitute an overarching lesson, though i don't know what that is. i've learned that i would rather stay in and watch a movie in the dark with a friend under a blanket than go out for a night on the town. 1. read my Bible more
2. don't take things so seriously
3. quit talking about people
4. be more of a servant
5. don't talk so much
6. be more gentle
7. quit worrying so much
8. talk to God more
9. be more disciplined about homework
10.be a better friend

life is harder than i ever imagined..and it seems mostly to be because of me.

this is the first time in my life that i've ever lost someone that was remotely close to me. what am i supposed to do? how am i supposed to act? do i go on with my normal routine and pretend that it didn't happen, i mean is that ok? is it ok to laugh at things that i think are funny or to have fun with my friends? it all seems so cruel. i feel like ( Read more... )

i'm on my way to aberdeen for disciple now. i'm really excited...the kids at this church are amazing and so is the youth minister, chris. i will definitely grow from this experience. :)
