Day 9: Best Scene Ever
Okay here we go my first scene is again from CSI: NY.
CSI:NY, Season 3, Episode 24, Snow Day
Reason why this is one of the best scenes ever: Um, Danny and Lindsay FINALLY make love. The audience is treated to a flashback of Danny and Lindsay playing pool in his apartment. The stage is set with shots of whiskey and a bet between them. Danny is clearly losing and bet Lindsay that she can't make her next shot. Lindsay wants a 100 bucks if she does, which of course she does make the shot because Lindsay is seven shades of awesome. He tells her she'll have to wait for payday but she's having none of that and tells him he can either pay her now or come up with something better... as a fan of this couple, I think he more than made up for the lack of money. The scene was both sexy and sweet. Great way to start this couple off on the right foot.

The OC, Season 4, Episode 6, The Bummer Summer
This is the scene I call: The Ryan Finally Gets It Scene. Taylor and Ryan had already kissed by this point but Ryan was still on the fence until Taylor kissed him again. The whole episode he is still unsure, because, well, God love her, Taylor was a bit crazy- in the best possible way. She even hired a gay guy to make Ryan jealous- which of course it worked. Even though he was unsure of her, Ryan couldn't deny he was seriously attracted to her. When he found out about the gay guy, he confronts her and they have a talk. He doesn't want a serious relationship; she doesn't either- in her words, she just wants to use his body like a jungle gym. (*laughing*) The scene I picked is their first make out session. They are playing 7 minutes in heaven, but neither is too excited to end at 7. As Ryan said, "10's a nice round number."

Um...Leonard gives Penny a snowflake from the North Pole that will never melt...How can that not be a favorite? Honestly though, this season had a lot of great moments (such as Wil Wheaton vs. Sheldon Cooper) but this one scene was just so amazingly sweet. The fact that he thought to give her something so fragile just showed how much he cared about her and at this point he had no idea that she would want anything more than friendship from him. Of course he found out during this episode (and before the snowflake gift was given) that she did- and really who could blame her? Leonard and Penny are my favorite couple on the show and scenes like this one are one reason why.
