"When a man sings his heart out to a lady..." -Maxie to Spinelli
First let me start with some news: I'm working on a couples video for General Hospital. It includes all my favorite couples (that I could find clips for) from the show past and present.
The list of couples:
Robin/Patrick (Scrubs)
Sam/Jason (Jasam)
Liz/Lucky
Brenda/Jax
Robin/Jason
Maxie/Spinelli
I would have added Stone/Robin in there but the clips for that couple are a bit hard to work with. I've loved a lot of couples on this show, but these are the ones that have really stuck with me. Okay now for the bullet list:
- Poor Spin looked like he was going to throw up on himself when he started singing. I got a little annoyed with Lucky because he was laughing, but I forgave him because...I like him. *laughing*
- I thought the song was supposed to be "The Way You Look Tonight", but I was wrong. It was "I Want You To Show Me What Love Is" by Foreigner. I actually loved this song choice. It was perfect for where both characters are at. Spinelli having never been in love with anyone before and Maxie learning what true love is. Brilliant!
- Maxie standing up so that he would focus completely on her and not his fears. *aww* Loved all the shocked faces when Spin finally hit his stride...
- Maxie admitting that courtly love is "hot" and Spinelli telling her it was her belief in him made him sing better. *le sigh*
- Let me interrupt all this gushing to talk about things I didn't like: Claudia, Dante, Sonny and Olivia. *blech* I don't find anything appealing about Dante. He is just another one of Sonny's nasty off spring and he is Johnny in a different form...can someone explain to me WHY we need him?
- Rebecca was almost likable yesterday while with Lulu and Maxie. But today she has once again started bothering me. Really don't need to see Nik be an idoit and her try to be all "torn". *disgusted sneer*
- Now back to the good: Liz and Lucky getting closer. I'm glad the writers are getting back to this couple. I've had a soft spot for them since Liz's rape all those years ago.
- Jason and Sam...HOT! I'm sorry but the looks they gave each other when she fell into his arms were smokin' *fans self*
- Love Max pretending to sing for Diane. *laughing* For one second I actually thought that was him. *grin*
- Robin and Patrick curled up on the couch. *aww* I loved him getting upset that he lost the bottle of Champagne to Spinelli. *laughing* Him saying that he had all he needed because "I've got you" and Robin's reply of "Babe" made me giggle. So cute. This is the scrubs I love. And after all the angst they've had it was nice to get back to that.
- Spinelli and Maxie rushing upstairs to make love. *Squee* So cute, sexy and awesome.
- "This isn't courtly love," Spinelli says while Maxie and him make out. "Well when a man sings his heart out to a lady, he must deal with the consequences." Then she throws him on the bed. Hot Damn! When Maxie wants something she definitely goes after it. I want to be Maxie when I grow up. *laughing*
- Sam and Jason trying to work while "hearing" Spinelli and Maxie having sex. *laughing* Seriously! That was great. I love that you could hear things falling down and breaking from the two love birds finally getting together. *grin*
- And finally the Spixie love montage. *le sigh* It was cute and sexy and sweet and little funny and perfect. It was perfectly them. This is what I have been waiting for and I was very pleased with the way it turned out.
- We finally got the "I love you" from Spinelli. "I love you Spinelli"- Maxie. "I love you, Maximista"
