Today was a whirlwind of old friends, first class meetings, yet another rejected class, and realizing that oh my god, school is actually here again. It's something close to feeling stunned or shocked back.
I'm taking Anthropology 10, which has modules like stem cell research, race in America, anorexia and obesity, intersexuality, and other really interesting chever. The workload promises to be intense though, and my professor is a typical Cooly-Detached Bitch type, but I'm hopeful it won't be too bad. I mean, the worst bitches seem to be librarians, so this one may just be garden-variety. I can deal with her.
Another class; SEA 30: Southeast Asian Chorva. I'm not quite sure what we'll be discussing, but we'll be having four different professors. It's a cross-disciplinary thing so anything that isn't typically classroom-type excites me. :D Plus, our first professor talks like the cool potted-out aunt I wish I had. :D
Let us not talk about my major Communication subjects as not to ruin my fragile optimism for this semester.
