Did not get the job I applied for. (Found out today, interview was yesterday.) They told me I wasn't experienced enough with customer service; I guess that's just how it goes. Not really an entry-level position. Ryan had thought that my support experience would make up for it, but these days employers can afford to be choosy

Oh, also, Jake is in LA for two weeks for work. He's gonna be in SF on Monday to meet up with friend. Any food recommendations for lunch/dinner? Preferably with ugly women/only men? :D

Ahaha well I don't know about ugly women but I can recommend plenty of restaurants in the Castro.

I'd offer to meet up but since I haven't actually met him in person, that would probably be weird. You should have gone with!

I wouldn't have minded, but it was a two week trip, and I had a class in Tampa. However, he might be out there a lot in the coming months to work on integration stuff, so plenty of time for me to badger a space! He's staying in the hilton this trip and keeps making me jealous talking about room service and the $100+ bathrobes.

Well, Hotel My House has neither room service nor bathrobes, but it's very ... homey. And comfortable. And free! *subtle*

Plus, it may or may not come with a free city tour.
