My life in WoW

As some of you know, this past winter I started to play World of Warcraft (WoW) because one of my friends introduced me to it. It is an amazing game that is played very cooperatively. I played mostly at night after teaching and after several months got my toon (character I play in WoW) to level 60 (the top level in the game as of right now). I ( Read more... )

It makes sense how people can get a little upset by things. It's an emotional investment and a general trust issue, but it's also a very real investment in time. Peoples time is precious and disrespecting it or making it worthless is something folks probably should take personally. All that in moderation of course, the extreme drama we often see is completely uncalled for.

I had a very strange experience leaving a WOW guild earlier this year. There wasn't really anything big to it on my end I just didn't enjoy my time with them so I wanted to leave the guild. They couldn't let it go, they were so addicted to drama they had to start to make up a mythology behind my leaving to fit their drama needs. After I left I heard all kinds of things about how I couldn't stand women players or how my plot to take over the guild was foiled. It really was amazing to me these folks couldn't operate at all without a drama construct.

Anyway, strange times.

My characters on Steamwheedle are Silverleaf (29 NE Priest) and Durzon (48 Dwarf Warrior). Courtney plays Breeana (38 NE Huntress).

If you're ever on drop us a tell, would be a ton of fun. If you know anyone up for a Horde alt night or something let me know. I enjoy playing with people.
