Was up at 4:30am this morning...that was a struggle after being about with Stuart and Carl until about 11pm last night in the Castle. Anyway, the reason I was up at that ludercruss (sp?) hour was because I had to get a 7:05 flight to Newcastle from Southampton, to collect a car we had bought from a dealer up there. Met Jon at work at 5:30 and he dropped me at Southampton Airport. The flight was pretty good, very impressed with the Airline really - flybe, very good airline. Got in to Newcastle about 8:20 and one of the guys, a partner in the dealer collected me in his 54 Porshe 911 Carrera S! Got chatting to him on the trip to where the car was (at the other partners house) and he was saying they supply a lot of the top footballers and rugby players cars. Nice chap, his accent wasnt too strong so could understand most of it, more than can be said for one of the ladies in a petrol station up there! Did the business with the car and got on my way back about 9:15. Didnt get back to work until 5:00 and 300 miles, stll it was a nice car to drive back in - a 3.0 V6 Mondeo ST220 all loaded up with Sat Nav etc. Did use the sat nav, although I swear it took me round the houses in Newcastle. I ignored it in places when I got to an area I knew, coz it was telling me to go a crazy way! When I got back to work I was just about ready to have an early leave, and a customer came in to collect his brand new car I had sold him, so had to do that before I left. Going round Carls with Stuart tonight for a pizza, i'll prob be asleep by 9!
