today was melissa's b-day, so of course it was awesome. christina got her a hula hoop (i got her some other stuff but i'm saving it til saturday) and we all tried it out...apparently being the only one who could actually hula hoop makes me a whore. but at least my activities this summer gave me an unexpected skill!
also, melissa is afraid of balloons. and liz gives everyone balloons on their birthday. so i carried mel's balloons for her from class to class so they wouldn't strangle her or kill her with the knives they were supposedly packing. i'm a good friend.
colleen, i love you soooo much. i really wish i could have gone...damn my mom! thanks so much for recording as much as you could of the cure on your cell phone. it was awesome. an added boost to my day, right from first hour! neato. i love the cure very much. and cursive and interpol are of course awesome, it sucks that i get paid friday so i couldn't give you money for a t-shirt. but sometimes it happens that way.
melissa and i are going to homegrown and denver harbor next saturday. so screw you other kids, man. it'll be awesome-tastic. *does the homegrown dance* yeah alyx. how do you like that? you should come with us :P except of course that i think you hate most of the music i listen to. my friend ben, however, has just developed a taste for death metal, so you'll have to recommend some bands to me so i can pass them on.
