Yesterday I picked Alex up from the local vet.
She got tested for FLV and FIV, and then she got spayed.
The poor thing is still in some pain, but if she was on pain killers then she'd be too active and probably aggravate the incision.
She's a little more active today.
She's my special little lady, and I love her very much.
I can't wait til I can live in Minneapolis again (or Saint Paul--I might be living there).
I hope the expand the light rail soon.
I got Alex switched over to the pine pellet litter. It's much nicer and less messy than the other litters.
All you have to do is scoop out the solid waste. And, when the pellets are all dissolved, they can be composted or just thrown outside.
It's also flushable.
Cleaner, easier, and better for the environment!

I miss Ana and Avari, too.
I should make lunch.
I'm still losing weight.
Not good. Gotta keep eating and eating.
