Hello december

Hello december, hello horrible cold, hello feeling of general meh and christmas panic and "there's only ___ days and i've not bought enough things!", hello too many things to do in not enough time. Hello noticing that i have no christmas parties to attend, hello to the spots that came with the horrible cold, hello loads of roadworks at a really not very convenient time of year, hello bulb in my car which is dimmer than the other one.

But also, hello happiness and joy and christmas feelings, hello christmas lights, hello advent calendar, hello christmas chocolates, hello gingerbread latte's, hello festive films, hello seeing people i've not seen in ages, hello reverting back to the state of a child as i always do at this time of year.

I love christmas :) and december in general. I really do. It's ace, and i do always become about seven again, though i don't get up at four in the morning anymore on christmas day, which i think everyone in my household is thankful for. I'm just being brought down at the moment by this cold that i thought i'd avoided but didn't. Saying this it's not as bad as the colds i usually get at the moment - touch fake wood desk in front of me - so hopefully it won't get any worse and i'll be able to get on with the excitement. Today i've been drinking sick person chasers, which involved orange juice, water, and echinacea tea. I really like echinacea tea but i don't know many other people who do, i think that it tastes like christmas which is probably why i enjoy it. I also like the way it's colour change - it starts off green and then goes a really nice red colour, which is also quite christmassy, which is probably why i like it so much.

Advent calendar countdown

Day One: Party invite...it also asked me when my first christmas party was, but i don't have a first christmas party :( It was quite considerate of it to ask me though.
Day Two: Mistletoe...please form an orderly queue.

hello, christmas, advent calendar, echinacea
