Bap out of hell?

Mmmmm lots to update on. A week ago i went and caught the train to leicester to meet gemmie and her scopitones message board friend leigh (who was a jolly nice fellow) and go and see the wedding present and get merry and talk about rather random things like meatloaf songs that you could alter to include bread references and suchlike. It was all jolly grand fun, i usually find meeting new people a bit scary, but leigh was a really nice guy and liked comics so it was alright :) We went to the noodle bar for some food (where we all had nearly exactly the same thing) and then to the polar bear pub which has seats that look as though they're going to be made of wood, but actually aren't made of wood at all. They were really rubbery and weird, it was a little disconcerting. I seem to have turned into a bit of a beer wuss, which i find a little worrying. I used to be able to drink at least a little bit of beer without feeling rubbish, but that evening i could only manage a pint and a half before i felt like i was drinking poison :( it was crap. I might put it down to grolsch, which i might have decided is grolsse, or i might just feel like a wuss, though i did drink absinthe at the weekend, but that's skipping ahead a bit.
We went to see gedge, which was glee, then went to the midnight screening of harry potter, which was likewise, though a bit sad too :( I did see people with scars painted on their foreheads though :D joy. By the time it finished it was ten to three and fucking cold, so we shivered back to gemmies for a small amount of sleep before getting up and going home. Thursday night/friday morning = lovely day :) Thank you gemmie, and thank you for putting me up for the night; you're a right bonzer sweetheart.

Friday was lots of travelling then sleep, then saturday was leeree's not birthday party at molly's house. Here we sat around and talked a lot, drank much liquor and ate home made brownies mmmmmm molly makes a good brownie so she does :) Amongst the liquor consumed was absinthe (heh, how hardcore are we?) which was good, though very very strong as it was from the czech republic and was 70% proof. It was an ace green colour. I was a bit disappointed that i didn't start seeing kylie minogue in front of me dressed as a fairy or then follow it up by going and running and dancing on roof tops. Although they might have been quite slippery at that time of night so it's probably better i didn't really.
It did however act as a sort of truth serum on me, so playing truth or dare was probably never the greatest idea. This has now resulted in my friends knowing a lot more about me; things that i am normally far more guarded about were just flung out into the open and left there to entertain them forevermore. Cue one embarrassed russo. Then as if that wasn't enough, i can remember following molly into the kitchen and waffling on to her about dishwashers and tetris for aaaaages (wouldn't it be great if dishwashers were like tetris though? then when you completed a line of glasses they'd just disappear and you wouldn't have to worry about them...) Cue one even more embarrased russo. Hopefully she didn't mind too much...

I went to see harry potter again on monday because everyone else wanted to, plus i thought i might notice more at not midnight. It was about the same second time round, i didn't notice more but still enjoyed it lots. The film is stolen for me by neville who is awesome, and ron who always steals the films for me. There's not enough snape though sadly. I was sat next to a terrified child and leeree, who hates children, which made for a rather fun viewing experience :)

Later today i'm going for coffee and then to maybe do a bit of christmas/motherbrotherbirthday shopping (motherbrotherbirthday is on the same day), then possibly to moles tonight if its not going to bucket down with ludicrous amounts of snow and make it impossible to get back.

gemmie, gedge, meeting people, molly, motherbrotherbirthday, terrified child, harry potter, leeree
