a/n: I can't believe it's been over two years since the last update, I'm sorry for making you wait for this. I've actually finished this already in June last year but I've been contemplating it and hesitating. There's no way I can put all of the last chapter thirteen in just one post since it exceeds 10k words. So here's the first part in celebration of Jaejoong's birthday <3
Enjoy! Once again, thank you
peach_gerl16 for the poster, I still love it!
To refresh your memories, here is where we left off in chapter 12:
“What am I? Your human heater?”
Junsu smiled. “That's exactly what you are.”
“And here I was thinking I was the boyfriend that you love...”
“That you are, too.”
“Really?”
Junsu froze, what did he just agree to? Shit.
Chapter 13
Jaejoong had tricked him. It was a sneaky trick to get a confession out of Junsu which he wasn't ready for yet.
Junsu felt a little angry and shocked, however guilty, too, because he saw the disappointment and that sad glint in Jaejoong's eyes.
Still, Jaejoong put on a smile for him and kissed him lightly on the mouth which led to Junsu relaxing from his stiffness. “I'm sorry, I surprised you. You don't have to answer me.”
“Please don't pressure me, just give me time.”
“I know. I'm sorry,” he repeated and kissed him twice, Junsu knew it was an attempt to stop him from being angry, it started to work just as Jaejoong had assumed. “Are we okay then?” asked Jaejoong against his lips and Junsu nodded. “So, can I leave now?” He nodded again. “You do realize I'm going to take all my heat with me?” he asked amused and Junsu finally understood he was still holding onto Jaejoong with his whole body and had to let go.
He gave him one last squeeze for the warmth, then disentangled himself from the body of muscles. Jaejoong was gone the moment he closed his eyes again. Junsu tried to sleep some more but he couldn't, not when he slowly felt the coldness spreading under the sheets without Jaejoong's body heat. He waited for him but after another ten minutes Jaejoong still didn't return. Annoyed and freezing he stood up, he hated the air-shafts that let in the winter-wind. He rubbed his eyes and went in the direction of the bathroom he and Jaejoong always used, one of the few places he blindly could remember the way to now.
Jaejoong wasn't there when he reached it and he couldn't have gone back to their room because Junsu would have seen him on the way. Wondering all the while where Jaejoong was, he absent-mindedly brushed his teeth, took a quick shower and changed into another new robe tailored by Yoonji and Dahae. It was comfortably wide but the flaming orange-red colour of the batik dyed fabric was piercing to the eyes in the early morning. The silky outfit didn't even keep him warm but they told him he had to wear it on New Year's Eve, it was some bloody tradition that trainee and master came in similar outfits to some stupid pagoda-party and since his master was the sabre fighter, they gave him those flaming red sabre fighter-clothes. He had protested that Jaejoong's attire was usually white and told them it didn't even suit him all that much but they didn't buy it.
“Oh, come on, the design is the same and it will look perfect on you!”
“Will look?”
“Yes, when you change your hair-colour to red...”
“Oh goodness, yes! Jaejoong's white outfit matches his fair hair but your hair has to match your red outfit!”
“No!”
He had fought with them, he had threatened he wouldn't hold back, not for women who were trained in martial arts, not for women in general, not for children, not even for bunnies - in other words he was acting all badass. Well, it was a matter about his hair. But due to some unfathomable reason, Jaejoong had helped them and they changed his cute brown hair to that same stupid, flaming, orange-red colour. Oh, he hated it. However, Jaejoong seemed to love it, and the older girls, too, they kept cheering him on at least. Ergo, he had no other choice but to wear that idiotic matching robe in the end.
Next he made a stop at the kitchen, almost three weeks in and he still had difficulties with that way, but he found it and again, Jaejoong wasn't there. He left behind his mark though, there were empty pots on the stove, he was done in making the typical pagoda breakfast. Soup and rice in the morning had become a routine since Junsu had arrived, he was a potager after all and it was his job to make the best soups in the world, Jaejoong had learned a lot from him in the past few weeks. He liked to improvise with Junsu's recipes and put Kimchi and other ingredients in the soups, it didn't even taste that bad in Junsu's opinion, some of the new improvisations tasted really delicious and he had the intention to use Jaejoong's ideas in the future, as well. Nonetheless, on New Year's Eve Jaejoong made breakfast without him and Junsu had the slightest foreboding the sabre fighter was avoiding him.
He asked himself if it was due to the reason he didn't say those three words in return... but why would Jaejoong do that? That would be stupid, Junsu thought. It didn't have to mean anything. Not saying those three words didn't mean he didn't like Jaejoong, he agreed to be his boyfriend after all. We had sex, for heaven's sake! That had to account for something, he thought. He was definitely attracted to him. Although it was kind of quiet in that department lately. Sure, they had slept together in the same bed, but in the last few days they hadn't slept together. Who set the pace for something like that anyway? Maybe it was totally normal going almost one week without action, maybe Jaejoong just didn't want to push him too much, he reasoned. But the way Junsu got to know the sabre fighter, he was quite a perverted one. So, was he losing his interest, Junsu slowly doubted. Wasn't he attracted to Junsu anymore? Jaejoong was the whole reason he was in the pagoda, if he didn't want him, what would Junsu do?
Unsure of his place in the whole picture, Junsu walked to the nearby dining hall which was already half-filled with the pagoda-inhabitants. His eyes automatically sought the fair head under the many dark ones but here he had no luck, either.
“Hey, Junsu!” Hyunjoong waved at him from their usual table, he was grinning.
“Wow, Junsu you look hot!” said his boyfriend, Jungmin. Hyunjoong coughed at that. “What? I'm just watching!” Jungmin said to appease him. They both wore similar outfits in light blue and Junsu still didn't know what kind of martial-arts trainees they were since he didn't ask and training had been put to a halt for the holidays.
“Just kidding,” said Hyunjoong to Jungmin before he grinned at Junsu again, “you indeed look good.”
“Thanks, guys. You, too,” said Junsu but couldn't muster an answering smile.
“Where's Jaejoong?” asked Hyunjoong.
“I thought you could tell me?”
“Hmm,” Jungmin thought for a while, “oh, right! Didn't he go with the grandmaster, Yoonji-nuna, Dahae-nuna, and Junki-hyung? They wanted to buy things for the party tonight, like every year. They even opened the grand door!”
“Oh, right,” Hyunjoong nodded.
Junsu was flustered. “Why didn't he tell me? I could have gone with him.”
Jungmin sighed sympathetically. “Maybe he just forgot? Come here, Junsu. Sit and have some breakfast first.” He even stood up and pulled a chair for Junsu to push him down on it, Junsu let him because he didn't know where else to go. “Don't be sad, sweetie.”
“I'm not.”
“You're sulking. Any problems with your master? Did you two fight again?” asked Hyunjoong.
“No.”
“All right,” Hyunjoong said, shrugged his shoulders and restarted to eat his own breakfast.
Junsu did the same but he felt Jungmin's eyes on him quite a while, it was unnerving. The meal was brilliant though. “Would you stop staring?”
“I can't help it! Why don't you tell us what's wrong? We're friends now, aren't we?”
Junsu sighed. “Yes.”
“You can confide in us, you know?” Jungmin whispered as he came closer with his head. Hyunjoong bent his head forward, as well, to catch the words.
“It's kind of private,” he confessed.
“You don't trust us!” Jungmin accused him and Junsu felt bad. Although...
“Hey, are you using reverse psychology on me?”
“Does it work?” asked Jungmin, lowering his lashes.
Junsu snorted. “Fine!” he said and Hyunjoong laughed at them. “Jaejoong and I...uhm...eh...” He stumbled on the words, he didn't know how to exactly phrase his worries, it was awful enough that he started to blush. “How...how often do you- how often are you two active during a week?” he then asked in a whisper, and quite bluntly.
Jungmin seemed confused, judging by the look he gave, while Hyunjoong almost fell off his chair, laughing very hard, it didn't do any good to the colour in Junsu's face.
He shoved his plate aside, put his elbows on the table, hid his head under his hands and just wanted to vanish, he was so embarrassed.
“Active? I think very often, being fighters and all that, you know?”
“Not that kind of...HAHAHA...active, honey,” said Hyunjoong and still laughed between the words, Junsu was sure he was wiping tears away at the corners of his eyes.
“Oh...Oh,” said Jungmin and laughed also when it dawned on him. “So that's your problem? Don't you worry!” he told Junsu and patted his sunken head. “I'm sure Jaejoong is more than competent in that aspect.” Well, what do you know? “What do you think, Chagiyah? How often do we do it? Once a day?”
Junsu lifted his head just a bit and saw Hyunjoong nod to that. “Yeah, Sometimes twice,” he smiled fondly at Jungmin and when Junsu turned his head again, he saw Jungmin smile back with that similarly smitten expression.
“Sometimes twice,” Jungmin repeated and winked at Hyunjoong, the wink looked like it meant today was one of those 'sometimes twice a day' days.
It was so easy to be envious of the two. Junsu felt more miserable than before just looking at them, so he sank his head anew.
“Aww, don't lose your hopes, Junsu! I'm sure we'll find a couple in here who's less active than us. Not everybody's as perfectly fitted for each other as Hyunjoong and I are.”
“That's not the point,” Junsu complained against the table.
“Wait a sec, HEY! YOOCHUN!”
“Oh my god, don't call him!” Great, what did he get himself into?
“Don't worry, I won't tell him it's you who wants to know.”
“That's not the point!” he repeated and tried to take down Jungmin's hand that waved around the hall towards the called person. “Don't! Stop that!”
“Relax, Junsu!” the stubborn Jungmin told him.
“Yeah relax, Junsu,” Hyunjoong agreed and there was that damn grin again, “this will be interesting, I want to know this, too.”
It was clear by then, Junsu thought. He was surrounded by freaks.
“Yo Jungmin, wassup?” Yoochun asked, of course he was fast to arrive at their table.
“Oh, nothing much. Isn't the breakfast great? How are you today, Yoochun?” He beat around the bush and before Yoochun could answer, Hyunjoong interrupted.
“Hey, Yoochun, how often do you and Changmin do it?” he said flat out, without mincing matters.
“How often we do it?” Yoochun grinned, “well, before breakfast and usually twice after dinner, so three times a day?”
Junsu decided he was surrounded by a special kind of freaks, sex-freaks.
“Oh, that's more than us!” Hyunjoong said astounded while Jungmin was shocked.
“I'm sorry, Junsu, this wasn't a very good example.” Jungmin gave him another pat to the head. “But you have to admit that Changmin is quite the beast compared to us.”
“Oooooohhh, are we comparing numbers to Junsu?” Yoochun said understandingly and took a seat next to Junsu's other side.
“No, we aren't!” Junsu managed to insist, he was still talking to the table though.
“Who's got the record for now?” Yoochun asked, ignoring Junsu's comment.
“For now you. Junsu isn't talking about his number but it has to be less than once a day, we do it once a day, sometimes twice.”
“Well, thank you, Hyunjoong!” Junsu said sarcastically.
“What? It was Jungmin who promised not to tell, I never said such a thing!”
Junsu moaned into the table-wood but he got some satisfaction when he heard how Jungmin smacked his boyfriend for that.
“Ow!”
“You deserved it,” Jungmin told him.
As a revenge Hyunjoong called over the AB-couple and made the embarrassment for Junsu worse.
“Heechul-hyung, Yesung-hyung, how often do you get some? Twice a week? Once a day?”
They were immediately within Junsu's earshot and gave similar amused tones to Yoochun's.
“What, you kids are talking about sex without us?” came Heechul's reprimanding voice.
“Bad boys!” Yesung added and poked Junsu's head. “Is he dead?” he asked.
“Nah, I think he's disappointed he's not getting some from Jaejoong lately,” said Hyunjoong and Junsu wanted to strangle him because he could hear the grin in his voice without looking now.
“Ah,” said the AB-couple in unison. He started to hate them.
“So, how often do you two do it?” Yoochun addressed them this time.
“Twice a day,” Junsu heard Yesung answer.
“Do spontaneous blow-jobs in the middle of the day count?” Heechul asked in consideration. “Because then it's more than twice.”
“They don't count!” said Yoochun firmly. “Because then I've got to add some of my own. So that means that I'm holding the record with Changmin? YES!”
“That's not fair!” Hyunjoong interrupted his little victory moment. “You two are still fresh, it's only normal to be more interested in each other in the beginning! Wait till you've got some years down the road like Jungmin and me!”
“Or Yesung and me!” Heechul yelled in agreement.
Couples were more interested in each other in the beginning? That gave Junsu a lot to think about. Then why was Jaejoong supposedly losing interest in him in the beginning? How would they look like in years? It didn't make sense. He had to talk to his sabre fighter and find it out.
“As I said, don't forget that Changmin is a beast,” Apparently Jungmin found it was important to repeat that part.
“Talking about Changmin, where is he, Yoochun?” Hyunjoong asked.
“Down in the cellar, in his secret room, mixing his secret drink.”
Four persons must have remembered something Junsu had no idea about because they gave away same “ah's”.
“The same procedure as last year, right?” Jungmin said knowingly.
“Yep, the same procedure as every year,” Yoochun answered and they reminded Junsu of Ms. Sophie and James of Dinner for One.
“What drink?” Junsu asked curiously, lifting up his head for the first in a very long time.
“The bitter one,” Yoochun said.
“Self-made cola?” he wondered.
“Are you dumb? The man is talking about alcohol!” Heechul yelled at him for some inexplicable reason, inexplicable to Junsu at least.
“He's brewing his own Soju, man, Soju!” Yesung added to his partner.
Oh, how he hated them. “'m not dumb,” he mumbled.
And out of nowhere Changmin made his appearance, as if he had heard how they were talking about him. Figures, fast like a fucking Ninja. Well, he was one, Junsu remembered. “That's right, and I'm done, it's ready for tonight.”
“Wonderful!”
“Excellent!”
“Let the party start!”
“Yoohoo, baby!”
“Yoohoo~!” Changmin repeated and Yoochun gave him a kiss on the cheek, the sight made Junsu's heart flutter a little. “Well, I'm awesome and unique like that, what can I say?” said Changmin proudly and they chuckled at him.
“Hey! We're awesome, too! We made you lube for Christmas!” said Heechul a little bit upset and with a pout.
“Yeah, that's the only thing you are good for!” Changmin said and Heechul attempted to kick his ass, he wasn't fast enough to actually touch him. “It's true though, everyone knows if you attempted to make the alcohol instead of lube you'd get us all blind,” he stated.
“YAH!” yelled the two mentioned people, acting hurt.
Yoochun and Hyunjoong were rolling on the floor laughing while Heechul and Yesung tried to kick their asses together this time. They actually hit them once or twice.
Jungmin grinned and patted Junsu's arm. “See, you're already smiling again! Don't worry, after Changmin's special drink Jaejoong will be willing to do anything with you tonight.”
“Hey!” Junsu shoved him while blushing furiously.
“Changmin, guess what? We're holding the record!” Yoochun remembered to tell.
“What record?”
“Between us four couples, we have the most sex!”
Changmin grinned from ear to ear. “That's brilliant,” he said and Yoochun kissed him again, this time on the mouth. Junsu felt his heart flutter again. So envious. “Let's have some more,” he said without bothering that everyone was still listening.
“Goodness, get a room, you two!” Jungmin complained.
“In fact, we should seriously consider this,” Changmin said before he and Yoochun vanished from Junsu's sight.
“How are they so fast?” Junsu asked in wonder.
“Oh, you'll learn it, too. Don't worry,” said Hyunjoong. “You look like you'll be a fast runner once you've had some training. But let's talk about that after New Year's Eve. Today it's all about party!”
“Did I hear the word party? Who else is excited for tonight,” asked a high, female voice.
“Hey Sica,” greeted the AB-couple and Junsu felt a little bit more uncomfortable than he already was if that was possible.
She sat next to him, taking Yoochun's empty place and putting an arm around Junsu as if it was the most natural thing to do since they were 'friends' now.
“Hey, my big bros,” she greeted later and fondled Junsu's hair. “Wow, Junsu, your new hair looks cool!” she half-screamed in his ear and Junsu tried to escape her clutches with no success. “But I wonder...if Jaejoong likes it?”
“He loves it, okay?” he countered with a same scream, even though he didn't plan to do it.
“No need to get defensive, dude!”
“Hey Sica, now that you and Sungmin are together,” stated Heechul.
“How many times do you do it?” finished Yesung.
“Excuse me! That's not something you ask a lady!” she complained.
“Come on, it's only between us, I'll tell you, too! It's twice a day for Yesung and me.”
“Same goes for us,” said Hyunjoong.
“But Yoochun and Changmin are holding the record,” said Jungmin.
When Junsu curiously turned his head to Jessica next to him, he saw how she was smirking and took Junsu's glass to have a sip of his tea. “With how often?” she finally asked after putting the cup down again.
“Three times,” said Yesung.
“Ha! That's not very often.”
“And what is often for you, Sica?” Heechul asked.
“Yeah, what is often for you, Sica?” Donghae and Eunhyuk suddenly repeated smugly from the next table, apparently the whole room was listening to this whole fiasco now. Bloody figures.
“Hmm, what about ten? That's often for me, average is six times a day at least,” she told them, never losing her smirk.
“TEN TIMES?” Jungmin yelled in shock while Hyunjoong's jaw dropped. “You're lying!”
“What, you don't believe me? Then go and ask Sungmin. Though I think he's still asleep, knocked out after our last round,” she was boasting.
“Poor Sungmin,” Junsu commented.
“You've got to reduce that number, Sica because spontaneous blow-jobs don't count,” Heechul told her.
Her lips stretched into a wide grin. “I didn't even consider them.”
Then the AB-couple did something very weird, Junsu found. They bowed down in front of Jessica. Eunhyuk and Donghae followed their example soon after. Idiots.
“All hail, sex-goddess Jessica,” Heechul said and the rest repeated it in unison, lifting their arms in the air only to bow down and let them sink again.
“Tell us your secret, holder of the record with six times average,” demanded Yesung. It looked like they just founded a new religion.
“We believe in you, sex goddess Sica,” Heechul repeated between his arm movements.
“Yes, we believe in you, Sica!” Donghae said while Eunhyuk couldn't stop giggling.
Junsu stood up to leave the awkward round and conversation only to be stopped by Jessica. “Junsu, you didn't tell me your number. So, how many times do you do it with Jaejoong?”
“That's private,” he said, ill at ease.
“Aww, but that's unfair! I told you mine.”
“That was your free choice. I didn't force you.”
“It's less than six, isn't it?” she stated. “And less than three because you guys said Yoochun and Changmin were holding the record with that. Is it twice a day?” Fan-fucking-tastic, this girl was observantly paying attention.
Junsu didn't respond but Jessica looked into his eyes and he saw how she tried to read it from his expression. She smirked again.
“Once a day?”
He didn't say anything but looked away and pulled at his hand that she still had her grip on, it was very firm.
“Less than once?” she guessed and Junsu finally managed to free his arm. He went towards the exit when she screamed something at his head that made him freeze.
“Oh my god, you're not getting any!”
It seemed like the whole hall was stopping in mid-conversation only to watch him react. His face felt hot and his heart was racing, he heard spoons fall but that didn't unfreeze him. He only came out of his stupor when Jessica started to laugh. Her laughter triggered two things, a reaction from the other pagoda-inhabitants that was mostly laughter, too, and Junsu running out of the hall as fast as he never did before.
He just wanted to crawl under a rock and die, a thing that happened more than once in the last couple of weeks. But what he did instead was crawl under the blanket on the bed in the sabre fighter's room and act like he was dead. He remained there like that for hours. He waited for his sabre fighter to come back and look for him, to find him.
Time went by and the sabre fighter didn't return. It was around lunch when he wondered whether he should cook because he was part of the pagoda's cooking personnel and Jaejoong wasn't there. When he went to the kitchen again though, he saw to his surprise the meal was already being made by the two Nunas.
“Hey Junsu,” Dahae said gently. “I knew you'd look handsome in those clothes!”
“Hello good-looking, young man,” Yoonji addressed him brightly and Junsu already felt a tiny bit better. Basically, those two were nice girls and their smiles made him smile in return.
“Hi. Did you all come back?”
“Yes. Are you hungry, dear?” Yoonji asked. “Lunch is not ready yet but I could make you a sandwich.”
“No, thank you. But where's Jaejoong?”
“Oh, he came with us to the kitchen and was about to make lunch, we offered we'd do it instead, so he could seek you out. We thought he wanted to see you. Didn't you meet him yet?” Dahae asked.
Funny. “No, I didn't.”
“Don't worry, maybe you two just missed each other on the way,” Yoonji offered as an explanation when she looked into his eyes. “Why don't you go and look for him in the training hall? The guys are redecorating it for the party. He probably went there to search for you.”
“Oh, okay,” said Junsu and was about to go when Dahae stopped him to give him a tight hug.
“I don't know why, but you look just as sad as Jaejoong when he left. I hope you two work it out if there is a problem. I liked you two being happy together better,” she said sadly and Junsu's heart broke a little. He didn't know he was emanating that negative mood so strongly.
“I'll try,” he said and thanked her for the hug by kissing her cheek softly.
Just as he was turning to Yoonji to repeat the action, he was surprised by the sudden presence of Junki. “Hey trainee, whose girlfriend do you think you're kissing there?”
His eyes widened in horror and his jaw dropped but, luckily, the girls started to giggle and he noticed Junki was only joking.
“Calm down, Junki, you're not seriously jealous, are you?” Dahae asked him while still giggling.
“Very,” Junki claimed and leaned into her to give her a kiss on the mouth which made her blush. Those two made one beautiful couple, Junsu found.
“Junki-oppa, where did you leave my Yunho?” Yoonji asked him.
“Actually, he sent me to call for you. He said he can't find the new robe that you told him to wear today.”
“Ah, my typical Yunho,” said Yoonji and smiled nostalgically. “He forgets everything. What would he do without me?”
“Destroy the pagoda,” Junki said with certainty. “Go ahead, I'll help Dahae finish the lunch.”
“Thank you, Oppa! Come on, Junsu, I'll drop you off at the training hall, it's on my way.”
Junsu was endlessly grateful to her because she knew he was bad with finding his way around, even though the training hall wasn't that far away from the kitchen it seemed. He kissed her cheek finally and she wished him best of luck at the door with one of her warm smiles.
When he opened it he saw how the pagoda-inhabitants were sticking balloons, garlands and paper streamers onto each free space of the walls, only the two walls with the mirrors did they leave out of anything shiny or coloured. They had even removed the whole weapon-arsenal to have more room for the decorations. Giving the bright and polished floor a look, Junsu understood why they chose this room for the party, it suddenly appeared to be a dancing hall.
Staring around, he saw all the familiar faces to him and outstanding were Changmin and Yoochun who were setting up a table with a huge barrel that probably contained Changmin's self-made Soju.
The only one missing, once again, was Jaejoong's light-blond head in the mass.
It was frustrating. He got out and closed the door before anyone noticed him to restart the embarrassing conversation of the morning. Good thing they were so busy and oblivious.
Afterwards he strolled along the corridors since he didn't find Jaejoong, and stopped caring about having no idea where he was going. It came as a surprise when he landed in the throne hall with the dark red and black colour-scheme, he found this place creepy since the first time he entered the pagoda on Jaejoong's back. Being alone now, he was more scared. The sound of the wind whistling through the air-shafts was increased by the high ceiling in here and gave the hall a spooky aura.
His eyes caught sight of the high openings that served as the entrances for the skilled fighters when he searched for another escape-route. He walked to the very one Jaejoong had carried him through as he was assaulted by the memory of it, he had been clinging onto Jaejoong's back with all of his strength and Jaejoong's arms had fascinated him when they carried his weight effortlessly. Thinking about it now, he could say it was a nice memory, even though he didn't forget Jaejoong's naughty hands caressing the undersides of his thighs. It actually made him smile. But where was that Jaejoong now?
Maybe he went out patrolling, a low voice in his mind suggested. Or maybe he went out because he needed some distance from you, another nagging one suggested.
He needed to talk to Jaejoong if that was the case, Junsu decided.
Hence, he tried to climb up the wall to the opening above him that led him out of the pagoda. It was the first time he tried to do it on his own so, he failed the first couple of times because he lost his grip on the few bricks that stuck out of the black wall and his feet couldn't stabilize his stand, either. Experiencing how difficult this was, he wondered how Jaejoong and the other fighters did this every bloody time. Suddenly he couldn't wait for his training to start.
Giving it another go, he ignored the lower bricks that stood out and jumped up to make a grip for the higher ones and it worked. With concentrated force on his arms he carried himself up and by the time he was sitting on the edge of the opening, he was breathing erratically and his fingers were wounded and sore. It was very high when he looked down on the other side but it was worth it for the distant view into the evergreen forest. It was a peaceful picture with little snowflakes making their way through the needles of the fir trees to melt on the damp ground. It was calm, too, no animals were in sight in this cold season but one could hear the very hushed voices of the pagoda-inhabitants and sometimes a wind blowing through the trees. Climbing down the other side was a lot more difficult but he made the effort because he didn't dare to jump down yet. Maybe another time when he had more muscles in his body, he told himself.
He walked around the pagoda, watching out for Jaejoong's figure but he was nowhere to be seen. On his second round, he finally took notice of the two tons heavy door Jaejoong had told him about, the one that solely opened up for war or other important occasions. Like New Year's shopping, and Junsu had missed it this time. A pity, he would have loved to see this aesthetic red and golden grand door open up.
He turned on his heels and followed a stony path from the door that led into the woods. Despite it getting darker and him starting to freeze in his thin robe, he walked on because the further he got the louder he heard the rushing of water in the distance. The stone path stopped some time but he kept walking on the damp earth covered with dried leaves and needles because the sound of the water never stopped and he could see a clearing coming soon. The density of the trees decreased around that spot and suddenly, the ground beneath his feet was exchanged with a water's edge. He went on in the water and ignored the icy cold it surrounded him with since he saw the source of the noise that brought him here.
There was a little waterfall; litres and litres gushing down a with the years rounded stone-cliff to create a small lake in the middle of the evergreen forest. And right under the waterfall, glowing in the dark like he did the first time Junsu saw him, stood the man he was searching for the whole day; Jaejoong. He seemed to be vigilant even though he was staring into the distance and he had his sabre in hand, a rare view since he had hidden it for Junsu a long time ago. He took a deep breath when Junsu took a step closer but he didn't say whether he heard him or not. He just looked like he was listening to the wind carrying sounds from his surroundings to him, and if he was freezing under the icy water of the fall, he didn't show it one bit. A top button on his front was even undone, revealing a patch of skin that caught Junsu's attention and made him swallow uncomfortably.
Just when he considered how to greet him, pondering between 'hey sexy' and 'bastard, where were you the whole day?', Jaejoong stepped out of the waterfall with closed eyes and pointed the tip of his sabre in the direction of Junsu's position, making his heart sink.
“I can hear you breathing,” Jaejoong said without turning his head.
“It's just me.”
Jaejoong gasped and opened his eyes at last, lowering his sabre. “J-Junsu,” his teeth clattered and he turned around to gaze Junsu's body up and down. “Wow, you look-” his jaw dropped a few times while talking, “I mean- wow, you look- fantastic.”
Though highly amused, Junsu suppressed a smile and stepped forward. “Thanks, you, too. Where were you, Jaejoong?”
“Here,” Jaejoong answered shortly. “How did you find me? How did you know I was here?”
Junsu took another step forward. “I didn't,” he answered shortly, as well before he counter-questioned. “Were you avoiding me?”
“I- I just needed some time to think and let some steam off. How did you get out of the pagoda?” he asked in wonder.
“I climbed,” said Junsu and took yet another step till he was chest to chest with Jaejoong and could hear him breathe heavily.
“You climbed all alone? Wow, I- I'm proud of you.”
Then Junsu threw his arms around Jaejoong's cold shoulders and whispered into his side, “didn't you miss me at all?” Jaejoong's chest deflated instantly against his own. “Because I did, you know? I missed you, Jaejoong. And I was worried about you.”
He heard Jaejoong's sabre falling into the water before he felt the other's arms encircling him in a tight embrace. “Oh god, Junsu. Of course I missed you. Who do you think I was thinking about this whole time? Every minute, every second I'm worried, too.”
“Really? Then why were you avoiding me? You're not-” Junsu gulped down a lump in his throat before he could continue, “-you're not losing interest in me, are you?”
Jaejoong shook Junsu's shoulders, “of course not!” he said appalled. “Who gave you this stupid idea?”
Junsu sighed and hugged him once again, not wanting to let Jaejoong go too far. “Had it all by myself. Well, the guys in the pagoda helped a little.”
“I'll kill them,” Jaejoong said without hesitation and Junsu let out a chuckle of relief. “Why the fuck would they give you such ideas?”
Junsu flushed and hid his face in Jaejoong's neck. “Oh. At breakfast we were kind of talking about sex, you know...”
“You were what?”
“-and the guys started to compare numbers and suddenly everyone was boasting; oh we do it twice a day, oh we do it three times a day, did you know that Jessica and Sungmin do it SIX times a day?”
“No, I didn't,” Jaejoong said dumbstruck. “And I don't give a fu-”
Junsu interrupted him, “anyway, it dawned on me that you didn't touch me for a week.”
Jaejoong pushed him afar to look at him incredulously, “and that's why you think I'm losing interest in you?” He rubbed at his face with his palms before taking Junsu back into his arms. “Oh Junsu, if you had any idea what you look like right now,” he mumbled into his ear, “like a fucking feast on a silver plate, worried that I might not like you anymore. And yet-” he stopped himself.
“What?”
“Forget it. So you're worried I'm not touching you enough? Do you know how much I had to control myself?”
“Really? Hmpf-” Jaejoong pulled him under the waterfall and kissed him, showing him how much sexual tension had built up between them since their last time. He disconnected to suck at Junsu's neck and the path down his chest that was visible when he pulled the red fabric down a little. Junsu moaned and threw a leg over Jaejoong's waist, letting him thrust into his front and getting lost into the feeling of it.
“I love you, Junsu,” Jaejoong breathed into his ear,” I love you so much that I worry every minute, if you don't love me I might lose you. That's why I need time alone. I need to mentally prepare myself,” he explained.
But Junsu got suddenly angry, he shoved Jaejoong away from his body so he landed with his back in the water. “Stupid!” he yelled, stepping out of the waterfall and hovering over Jaejoong.
“What is wrong with you?” Jaejoong yelled back.
“Just because I don't say it back doesn't have to mean anything!” he yelled and felt tears leaving his eyes despite him being drenched in water. His heart broke since Jaejoong apparently thought he didn't feel anything in return. “Just because I don't say it doesn't mean I don't like you! I told you I need fucking time!” He wiped at his face, he felt embarrassed and misunderstood. “Just because I don't say it doesn't mean you have to prepare yourself for anything! Just because I don't say it doesn't mean you'll lose me.”
Jaejoong was crying now, too, he could see the difference in his eyes. He nodded once and Junsu sank down to his knees, taking Jaejoong's hands in his to help him up.
“I'm not leaving. I promised you, remember?”
Jaejoong nodded again but didn't look up from their connected fingers, Junsu saw his chest shaking in a sob before he lifted their connected hands to kiss Junsu's sore fingers.
Junsu was overwhelmed by the display of affection and the vulnerability the sabre fighter let only him see. If not for anything else, then he loved him for that.
He bent over Jaejoong's head till their lips were a breath away. “Just because I don't say it... doesn't mean I might not feel it.”
The kiss that followed started softly but turned out to be brutal in its force. Jaejoong turned him around in no time and pinned him to the knee-deep water whose coldness they weren't even aware of anymore. Their bodies might be numbed by it but the heat came back in the form of lust and desire that worked its way through their systems in needles and pins.
Besides, there were places that never lost their original warmth, like the inside of Jaejoong's mouth, Junsu found, and his skilled tongue that massaged and sucked on his own, making him whimper in delight.
He was so touched that he couldn't stop crying, and he wasn't the only one, Jaejoong's tears flowed down between their connected faces, too. He wanted to feel more of Jaejoong, everything of Jaejoong, kiss his lips, suck on his tongue, and lick him all over the chest, too. He wanted to make him moan till his own name was the last thing that rolled over those deep-red lips before Jaejoong lost his consciousness due to an incredible orgasm. He wanted Jaejoong to make love to him all day and all night long, and the next day all over again.
And Jaejoong might just have read his mind because he was pulling down Junsu's and his own trousers in a flash and rubbing their stiff erections together with one hand under the water. It unlocked another moan from Junsu who let his legs fall apart to give Jaejoong more space. He never looked away from Jaejoong's half-lidded gaze when he buried one hand in the hair on the back of his neck and the other in the bare flesh of Jaejoong's arse to help him thrust forward. The friction it caused was not only welcome but a necessity, the noises that Jaejoong made were just too wonderful to let the moment pass by without them.
“Have you ever dreamed of sex under a waterfall?” Jaejoong asked against his lips and Junsu's mouth watered as if he was going to get a taste of some very delicious treaty.
“Not before this,” he managed to say after he swallowed, “have you?”
Jaejoong smiled at him before he leaned in to whisper a secret against his ear-shell, “every single time I was here.”
“Oh god,” he gasped. He got hard, harder than before, and he almost came when Jaejoong's fingers fondled their way behind his balls to probe and stretch his hole. He still got nervous and shy when Jaejoong touched him there so intimately, the flush of blood in his face creeping up from his neck was the proof, no matter how many times the waters licked at it to cool it down. “Ah... I think you found it...” he moaned when Jaejoong crooked two fingers inside of him and set his nerve-endings on fire. They didn't have the fancy, wonderfully scented, self-made lube with them so, Junsu was a bit worried, he just hoped the water around them would help enough. I'm opening up my heart for you, he wanted to say. Be gentle, he wanted to say.
But he didn't need to, Jaejoong was a perfect and attentive lover who gave him a smile and a reassuring sweet kiss before pulling his fingers slowly out to press the head of his cock in in their place. He gave Junsu all the time he needed to adjust and relax his muscles before he dared to give his first few thrusts.
The water in the lake bobbed around them and made a soothing sound when Jaejoong rocked back and forth against him. With his view on the sky directly above him, Jaejoong's comfortable weight on top of him, the rhythm of his slow thrusts pleasuring him enough not to drive him mad, and his own cock in Jaejoong's hand being stroked, Junsu felt like he was in heaven.
His eyes fell closed when he was driven enough to the edge that he thought he could come any moment now and he moaned with every push of Jaejoong's cock into his body.
“Junsu... you're so fucking warm inside... so tight,” Jaejoong moaned, “want to keep fucking you. Can I-” he asked and Junsu immediately knew what he wanted to say, he wanted to quicken his pace and since Junsu was about to reach his orgasm, he had nothing against it. He nodded and suddenly Jaejoong moved up, “hold onto me,” he told him before Jaejoong carried him to the waterfall.
He clung to Jaejoong with his legs tightly around his hips and his arms gripping around his shoulder-blades and biceps, his trousers and shoes long forgotten and kicked aside. Their wet robes clung to their bodies like a second skin but they didn't bother. “Don't let me fall, okay,” he asked him softly.
Jaejoong pressed him once more into the stone wall behind the falling water and sucked at his lips for a long time before he answered. “I wouldn't dream of it.”
He put both of his hands on Junsu's arse and held him tightly there before restarting to thrust into him, this time faster.
“Junsu, oh god, Junsu,” he kept moaning while Junsu was only able to groan something incoherent.
He threw his head back against the stones and barely registered he was receiving open-mouthed kisses when Jaejoong's hand moved faster up and down on his cock, just like his thrusts. His whole body moved up and down with Jaejoong's thrusts but when his orgasm finally rippled through his body and he saw the light explosions behind his lids, a couple of spasms around Jaejoong was enough to make him stop thrusting and come, too.
He found the shot of Jaejoong's hot release deep inside of him comforting since it was a proof of Jaejoong's feelings. His own release of white spurts between them had already been washed away by the waterfall. Junsu milked his last remains by squeezing around his cock some more, making Jaejoong groan against his throat with every movement which only urged him on.
When Junsu came down from his high and he was able to open his eyes without having a blurry vision, he saw how Jaejoong was still catching his breath with closed eyes and parted, slightly blue lips. The sight made him want to have another go. He sucked on them and felt Jaejoong's softening cock slip out of his body with a twitch of pain in his muscles. He unwound his legs from Jaejoong's hips and let his feet slip into the water since Jaejoong's knees seemed to have gone weak, he was slightly wobbling. Junsu smiled at him brightly which made Jaejoong laugh in return.
“This is your fault,” Jaejoong said with a hoarse voice.
“It was worth it,” Junsu told him laughingly.
They kissed once more messily under the waterfall before they could bring themselves to disconnect long enough and collect the abandoned pieces of clothes and the sabre.
The moment Junsu was done pulling up his trousers Jaejoong surprised him with a hug from behind. “So, how many more times do I have to do you today so we break the record?” he asked before sucking on Junsu's neck-hollow.
Junsu hissed, it was the spot Jaejoong had marked previously, too and it had barely healed. Now it was going to be purple all over again.
Well, he wasn't going to be the only one running around like that, he decided. He turned around to repeat the action and surprised Jaejoong by a harder suck on a spot under his jaw, making Jaejoong cry out in pain. He wasn't going to apologize for that, either.
“Quite a lot more,” he answered, “but I don't think anything that's done in a bedroom will compare to this one.” He grinned and pointed to the waterfall.
“Oh, we sure can try,” Jaejoong told him confidently and took one of his hands in his to lead him back to the pagoda, they were both chilled to the bones and Junsu's body was already jittering.
“But before that we've got to make a stop at the party. Do you know that I had neither breakfast nor lunch because of you?”
“I'm sorry, baby,” Jaejoong said as they walked out of the lake and into the woods, both drenched from head to toe. “If it's a comfort, I didn't eat anything, either.”
“Oh,” Junsu was speechless for a moment, sympathy and pity pulled at his heartstrings because he knew this was his fault. “I'm sorry.”
“It's okay,” Jaejoong still smiled at him. “You had no idea,” he said and caressed Junsu's hand in his.
“Then let's eat a lot at the party, all right?” Junsu tried to be more enthusiastic. “And let's try out Changmin's self-made booze!”
Jaejoong looked worried all of a sudden, “he made it again? Oh no!”
“What?”
“The day after last year's New Eve turned into a hang over party, you can't imagine the headache I had and I wasn't even the worst since I usually have a high alcohol tolerance! I don't know how nobody remembers the moans and complains they had last year, or what exactly Changmin's putting into that drink of his. It can't be trusted, seriously.”
Junsu laughed. “Sounds like fun to me. Let's try it!”
“Junsu!” Jaejoong called him disbelievingly when Junsu broke out into a run.
He reached the pagoda just a second before Jaejoong caught up with him.
“Junsu, you weren't serious just now, right?”
Grinning to himself, he said, “you'll find out soon. Now help me up!” He pointed to the opening above them before opening his arms for Jaejoong.
Jaejoong sighed and shook his head before complying with Junsu's order and offering him his back. “Hop up.”
There were still droplets of water running down Jaejoong's back of neck, Junsu noticed when he wrapped his arms and legs around Jaejoong. Seduced by the patterns they took down Jaejoong's shirt, he couldn't help but stretch his tongue out to lick and follow them. Jaejoong's shiver only willed him on to leave another series of kisses on the back of his neck.
“That tickles, I might let you fall,” Jaejoong warned him as he climbed up the wall, flexing the muscles in his arms.
“Can I tell you a secret?” Junsu whispered into his side, changing the topic.
Jaejoong's breath hitched noticeably.
“I thought your arms were sexy from day one,” he confessed and Jaejoong jumped down the other side of the pagoda, almost losing his footing in the dark and empty throne hall.
Nonetheless, he didn't complain, on the contrary, he was grinning brightly when he turned around. It was a sight Junsu liked more and more. “You really thought so?” he asked almost shyly and pressed Junsu into the black wall behind him.
Junsu's legs were parted by his knee that rubbed into his crotch, as if to say he better tell the truth. Naturally, he moaned and nodded fervently. It was worth it for the reward, Jaejoong kissed him senseless.
Minutes later, when they recovered from the lack of air, they walked hand in hand along the corridors till they reached the one of the training hall. The closer they got, the louder they heard the music and the noises made by the other inhabitants, the party was already in full swing.
Just when Jaejoong was about to open the door, Junsu stopped his hand. What if they laughed at him like they did in the morning, he worried. “Maybe it's not such a good idea, shall we go back to our bedroom instead?”
“Why? What's wrong, love?” Jaejoong eyed him worriedly.
Junsu sighed embarrassedly. “This morning, I- I didn't part on good terms with the others.”
“I'll kick them,” Jaejoong said dead-serious, squeezing his hand. “I'll kick as many asses as necessary for making my baby go all insecure on me. Forget those idiots,” he took Junsu into his arms. “You were excited for the party and you wanted to eat. Why should we let our fun be spoiled by them?”
Jaejoong caressed the wet strands of his hair and kissed him comfortably, letting Junsu feel securer immediately. He let Jaejoong's scent and warmth take over his senses, he felt so lucky to have him.
“We're going in, okay?”
“Okay,” he nodded against Jaejoong's chest.
Then Jaejoong opened the door and pulled him into the party. People where dancing in the centre to the music that blasted through a box in a corner, they had even somehow organized a mirror-ball that reflected light in every direction. There was a buffet where others stood to eat and talk. There were couples kissing in darker corners but the most and familiar faces stood around the table with Changmin's barrel of alcohol. They were chit-chatting laughingly when some heads turned to the door where they stood.
The first two persons to arrive at there side were Jungmin and Hyunjoong. Hyunjoong was greeting Jaejoong when Jungmin started to talk very fast to him. “Oh my goodness, what happened to you two?” He didn't answer him, so Jungmin continued. “Junsu, I am so sorry about this morning! It wasn't my intention to make you feel uncomfortable nor to humiliate you. I swear I wasn't laughing about you with the others!”
“What? You guys were laughing about him?” Jaejoong asked aghast, having overheard Jungmin. That's when he started the kicking without waiting for an answer. His first victim was Hyunjoong who screamed in pain.
“Weren't you listening? I didn't!” Jungmin insisted and avoided a kick to his own back.
“AH! I didn't laugh either!” Hyunjoong complained and rubbed at his butt before he, too, apologized. “But I'm sorry, Junsu. It was my fault, I shouldn't have asked the others to join in on the conversation.”
Not holding a grudge against these two, Junsu forgave them quickly but enjoyed Jaejoong's continuing vendetta. Next, Jaejoong took Donghae and Eunhyuk by the front, asking them, “were you laughing at my boyfriend? Were you?” They shook their heads but Jaejoong kicked them and threw them aside, whatsoever. Junsu giggled. The older AB-couple was already guiltily running away but Jaejoong caught up and kicked them twice as hard. “I know you two were involved, this practically reeks of you two weirdos!”
“OW!” they cried out of one mouth and Junsu laughed, this was like live, slap-stick comedy.
“Who else laughed at my baby today, huh? WHO ELSE?” Jaejoong screamed over the music and everyone stood stock-still. Only two figures tried to escape sneakily which made Jaejoong only notice them faster. “YOOCHUN! CHANGMIN! YOU'RE DEAD MEAT!” Junsu missed how Jaejoong managed to kick their asses in the air because Jessica approached him.
“Junsu...eh, I'm sorry about earlier, yeah?”
Junsu scoffed at her and went to the table with the Soju, ignoring her.
He filled an empty glass for himself when he realized that she had followed him, unfortunately. “But seriously, why are you two all wet and wild?”
Puffing air in annoyance, he started, “not that it's any of your business but,” then he leaned in and whispered the reply into her ear. When she turned red and angry, he smiled smugly.
“SUNGMIN!” she screamed and stormed off. “I NEED YOU NOW! THIS INSTANT!”
“Was that just Jessica?” Jaejoong asked suspiciously and joined him at the table.
“Yes.”
“What did you tell her?”
“The truth.”
“In which form?”
Junsu grinned at Jaejoong before repeating what he whispered to Jessica. “I told her that we had water-fall sex and that it was incomparable to any number of rounds she had done it with Sungmin.”
“Did you tell her how fucking cold it was?”
“Of course not.”
“Good, because I didn't kick her butt yet,” Jaejoong said approvingly and Junsu wanted to kiss him for that. “Hope she freezes it off.”
“But she's a girl!” Junsu protested half-heartedly.
“I don't care! You haven't seen that witch in action. She's a Kung Fu master, too, gets bloody nasty when she fights.”
“I better avoid her for the next days then,” Junsu mumbled before taking a gulp from his glass. “Ew! This stuff tastes disgusting!” he grimaced. “What in the heck was I thinking?”
“I told you! Why wouldn't you believe me?” he was reprimanded before Jaejoong took the glass out of his hand. “Give that to me,” he said and emptied the glass for him without a twitch or a blink of his eyes.
Junsu felt somehow giddy, knowing Jaejoong's lips were on the same spot his own had touched the glass earlier. He secretly worked one of his hands in Jaejoong's free one and stroked his pulse-point with his thumb affectionately, despite saying, “that's disgusting. How could you down that so easily?”
“I'm used to it, told you I had a high alcohol-tolerance,” he replied and intertwined his fingers with Junsu's. “Now let's get something to eat before everything is finished.” Jaejoong kissed his cheek before Junsu let himself be pulled to the buffet with a light heart.
The rest of the party was quite uneventful for their measures. By the time the clock struck twelve, they had already retreated to their bedroom where Jaejoong tried to break the sex-record with him, showing his competitive side. He was particularly paying a lot of attention to Junsu's cock which he was sucking on hard and driving Junsu almost mad with when they heard the loud New Year's cheers.
“Ah! But... they said blow-jobs don't count...” he moaned loudly.
Jaejoong disconnected with a wet pop and looked up at him with a smirk. “Do we care?”
Junsu pulled him up for a well-earned, deep kiss before he answered. “No, we don't.”
So, Jaejoong continued his handiwork and by the break of dawn, they actually managed to turn the number into an impressive eleven. However, they were so knackered and tired afterwards that they weren't able to boast about it to anyone since they slept through the whole next day.
