You know, when we slept together, you were allowed to spoon me.
You were allowed to caress my hair and watch me fall asleep,
allowed to kiss me goodnight and tell me that you loved me.
And I would let no one but you do that.
Because now that you are not there, it doesn’t make sense to sleep with someone when the warmth is not yours,
kiss someone when the lips are not yours,
love and be loved by someone when the heart is not yours.
Because without you everything is meaningless.
