One of the quickest ways to identify someone you should never listen to ever again is if they float the option of a constitutional amendment to remedy whichever political transgression currently occupies the bulk of their ire.
A constitutional amendment requires supermajorities in both houses of Congress, and then supermajorities in 3/4's of state legislatures. It's a nearly impossibly high bar to attain, especially in this political climate.
The mere consideration of the possibility tends to imply the person in question spends the bulk of their time attuned to a singular, circular echo-chamber of news outlets. Which in turn spend the majority of their time on air feverishly agreeing with one another, and further deluding their viewers into the misguided belief that everyone, by extension, clearly agrees with them as well.
