Once again I am a bad kitty mom
It was Roxy's birthday last Sunday, August 11, and I forgot to post pics!
My baby girl is 7 years old now and really needs to go on a diet. She weighed in at 18.7 lbs. yesterday at the vet's. I'd appreciate any advice on how to help her slim down. Getting better at just not feeding her as much or as often, but do you have any other tips? She's getting more exercise in that Charlie chases her around the house, so that helps. ;-p They're all on Royal Canin Calm dry food with the occasional treat of Fancy Feast wet food. I'm thinking of switching them to Blue Buffalo Chicken with Brown Rice for Indoor Cats. The vet is no help. She's the one who suggested Calm, which has corn and other non-essentials in it. Rox has gained so much weight on that stuff. I'd put her on a diet food, but it has to be yummy or she won't eat it. She has discerning tastes.

It's difficult to get photos of her on her own, because a brother or sister is nearly always where she is. She's very popular! Here she is obliging Charlie with a hug and a wash.

Oddly, she just recently figured out how to do the classic Ragdoll pose. She's actually a farm cat who turned out like a Raggie, but I thought she might have tried this one out sooner than at nearly 7 years of age. Her brother Riley decided that he had the patent on that pose and objected to her doing it too. ;-)
Playing with her favourite catnip toy. She also loves ping pong balls and often becomes a cartoon cat, scrabbling all over trying to get at them, while sitting on them! It's hilarious. :)
