Not the Military

Well... Yesterday I decided that I'm not going into the Military. It was a decision that I am actually very happy with. One that has lifted a load of fear, and doubt off of me. Right now, the military isn't for me.

Right now the Air Force is not looking for anyone to join. They don't need people. They'll only be offering me a few types of jobs, ones that won't challange my abilities. They'll challenge my endurance, yes, but my intelligence would be wasted. Basically, they don't need me, and I don't need them.

Additionally, I'm not emotionally ready. Mentally, I know what I'd be giving up, what I'd be training for. But mentally? No. I'm just not ready. I don't know if I'll ever be ready. I'll just work at Wal-Mart, climbing what ladders I can there and work on getting my Bachalor's in Education.

Till then, I'm staying home, here in Maine.
