I guess I potentially offended my possibly future roommates by asking if they smoked....some of them do. They said they are fine with smoking outside, but "certain substances that are smoked in Eugene will be smoked indoors from time to time". And they're asking if that's ok....bleh. Sorry to those peeps, but that just kind of sucks. I need to find room mates with with sensible addictions. Maybe I can find someone who's addicted to video games to room with. They also want to move up in August, instead of September. I'm not sure if my job could start that early, so i'd just be sitting around on my butt, spending money that i could be saving. The situation sucks further because all my friends moving to Portland are FROM Portland, and moving back in with their parents, save for a few that "might or might not" move to Portland in the fall, or those that want to live alone.
I guess i'm just bummed because this plan seemed like it was gonna work out great, the people were nice enough. And so many other people have just been flaking out on me with this! I guess I just might be back to square one, and need to find some other people.
