I spent most of this weekend coloring my drawing many, many times. I began to hate it very much, as it didn't capture what I wanted it to. But I think i've settled on this coloring. Minus my name of course, for the print itself. Coloring images to later make into screen prints is way different than coloring a normal image. It's like a puzzle...each color must have it's own layer, it must be solid colors and you also have to drop yourself "hints" on base layers, so you can line up the other layers correctly. Next on is to make color separations out of the layers. Then to spend a billion hours in the lab making it happen. But, it's pretty awesome to watch it come together. I'll try to photo document the process this time.
