yes this is a mostly pointless update. you can skip it. there are more serious things I could be talking about but I'm not ready to do that yet. So... movie review time. AND THERE ARE SPOILERS. though I doubt anything I could say would make it less disturbing or weird.

I repeat do not go to see Fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer.
even if you loved the first one. Do not go.
it is a horrible horrible movie.

DEAR HOLLYWOOD.
SPECIAL EFFECTS AND EXPLOSIONS DO NOT MAKE UP FOR A BAD PLOT.
it possibly would have gone better if there had been no plot, but it's a close call.
