its a beautiful day!!!

This morning was amazing, I went for a meeting with councillor Grange, he holds the key to getting this new park idea up and running, Cecilia had asked me to take my design to show him...I was so nervous this morning that I didnt even want to go, but of course I did...I walked in and he was having a heated debate with someone from surestart...Ian peered over the computer monitor and gave me a "haha rather you than me" look...I sat down and waited..my confidence faltering, wondering what the hell I was doing there...Cec and June walked in then.."this is the girl I told you about!" Cec chirped cheerily to councillor Grange..so feeling sheepish I walked over, sat down and showed him the design. He looked over it asked a few questions and breathed out, I could feel my heart sinking when suddenly he grinned and said "this is brilliant" I couldn't believe it..he loved my idea's!! haha he talked over the plan with me and we came up with more idea's of how to turn my slightly idealistic interpretation in to a reality, although they didnt think it was half as idealistic as I originally thought, seem's to be a pretty feasible design...Once we had finished talking I made some phonecalls for June, made everyone coffees and went over more idea's for the park project as well as others, people are genuinely interested in my idea's and that just gives me the self motivation to want to go even further! I think I am becomming one of those dorks thats addicted to praise haha!...I am getting involved with the skate park now too and helping to make a video of what the centre provides, we are putting together some amazing presentations for an important meeting with the governer later in the month where we plan to ask for extra funding...I have been using my spare time to take photographs of area's of the community that need improvement and talking to residents gathering quotes for our presentation...there is even a possibility of this turning in to a paid position in March..I am determined to get it, I never dreamed that I would enjoy doing this stuff so much, I get to be creative constantly, the meeting today felt like a buzzing hive of idea's...I was home ;)
I walked out of there and the sun was shining so brightly...I couldn't stop grinning, I actually skipped home! :D
