I JUST got back from doing food for state MathCounts and I have to gripe about stupid people. Firstly, MathCounts is a charity event. It relies on donations from companies to sponsor the competition. My free time should loosen up a little after Saturday's MathCounts event. Jen (adelrya ) and I were in charge of providing food for the competitors, coaches, volunteers, and parents (if there was extra food). We estimated 350 lunches and weren't that far off-- less so had all the schools that signed up been in attendance.

Today kicks off the first planning meeting for the Southern Arizona MathCounts competition (which is in February and the state competition is in March). Me and Jen (adelrya) have been asked to take on the task of organizing snacks and lunch for the kids who will be participating.
